Great local restaurant - everyone knew each other. Serve more than breakfast. Clam chowder was truly delicious as was the potato salad!! Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing cafe. Beautiful selection of breakfast and lunch options. My wife and I agreed, the pancakes were so good we didn't even need the syrup. This is our second time here in as many months and both times the service has been exceptionally friendly and prompt and the food mouthwatering. Our new breakfast 🥞 place.

I enjoyed this place so much because of the really cozy atmosphere, it is bigger than it seems and has a great menu! Taste is delicious too. I had a vegetarian patty with eggs and potato. The highlight of it was our waitress, I do not remember her name but it was on the older side. She was lovely and super attentative. Made our experience even better. Great way to begin the day!

My fiancé and I recently dined at Early Bird Cafe in Ridgefield, Connecticut, and while the service provided by the waitress was exceptional, we were unfortunately disappointed with the quality of the food. First, let me highlight the positive aspect of our experience—the waitress. She was amazing and extremely attentive throughout our meal. She greeted us with a warm smile, was knowledgeable about the menu, and promptly took our orders. She made sure our glasses were never empty and checked in on us frequently, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Her exceptional service definitely enhanced our dining experience. However, when it came to the food, we were left underwhelmed. Both my fiancé and I found the dishes we ordered to be lacking in flavor and overall quality. The presentation was decent, but the taste did not live up to our expectations. The ingredients seemed mediocre, and the dishes lacked the finesse and creativity we had hoped for. We were particularly disappointed with the lackluster seasoning and blandness of the flavors. Considering the reputation of Early Bird Cafe, we expected a more enjoyable culinary experience. Unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations, which was disappointing given the high level of service provided by the waitress. It's worth mentioning that taste preferences can vary from person to person, and our experience may not reflect the opinions of everyone who dines at Early Bird Cafe. However, based on our personal experience, we were left wanting more in terms of the food quality and taste. Despite our disappointment with the food, the excellent service provided by the waitress deserves recognition. The attentive and friendly nature of the staff certainly made our visit more pleasant. In conclusion, while the waitress at Early Bird Cafe in Ridgefield, Connecticut, was amazing and attentive, the food itself did not meet our expectations. We hope that the cafe can work on improving the overall quality and flavor of their dishes to match the level of service they provide.

Food was cold. “Fresh” peaches were canned. If you want maple syrup with your pancakes, French toast, or waffles, you have to pay $2.50 for it. Would not recommend.

Great breakfast, super friendly, fast service, and very reasonable prices. They have plenty of tables outside, safely spaced. Brought my dog a bowl of water. How great is that?

Excellent food and service. This was my first time here and I tried the chicken waffles and they were excellent the coffee was phenomenal as well! That was a great breakfast with my friends!

This was our family’s go to restaurant for breakfast. We crossed the border from NY. After $50+ for 2 people to have ok eggs we will find other options. $3.50 for a cup of black coffee? I know about inflation but there are consequences for overreaching.
