Nirvana prevailed, not only, over this Duffy’s location, but the entire brand. Ambiance, interior design, needs some injection of fresher air. Service was good. We always like to seat in the bar area, because it’s more personal and easier to interact with other guests. That is good about Duffy’s, big bar counter. A lot of nice menu features, unique for the brand, disappeared over the time. Still there is a value visiting Duff’s. Portions are generous size. Gridiron Nachos was delicious. NY Strip Steak was tasty but very chewy. Very good beer selection is there.
Absolutely appalled by the terrible experience I had at Duffy's! I placed an order with them, and it turned out to be a complete disaster from start to finish. First and foremost, they completely mishandled my order. Not only did they get it wrong, but they also managed to mix up the items, leaving me with something I didn't even want. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, I was shocked to find that they overcharged me by a whopping $40! I couldn't believe it; the prices were already exorbitant, but this was beyond unacceptable. When I brought this to their attention, their response was lackluster and indifferent. They showed no remorse for their mistake and seemed uninterested in rectifying the situation. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the least a reputable establishment like Duffy's could do is apologize sincerely and take swift action to correct their errors. Unfortunately, they failed miserably in that regard. I expected much better service and professionalism from a supposedly reputable restaurant. This entire experience has left me feeling ripped off and taken advantage of. I will not be returning to Duffy's, and I strongly others to stay away as well. There are plenty of other places that offer better food, fairer prices, and most importantly, a level of customer service that Duffy's clearly lacks. Save your money and your sanity and avoid this place at all costs.
Waited 4 years to travel back to Florida and was looking forward to our usual trip to Duffy’s Unfriendly staff. Washrooms were filthy. Restaurant floor was sticky and dirty. Food was terrible. Soggy quesadillas. No cheese, only a bit of unflavoured chicken. No peppers or other toppings. Less than a teaspoon of sour cream and runny tasteless salsa. The kids meal hot dog was overcooked and the bun was so hard and crunchy it crumbled apart. No toppings except ketchup were offered and the waitress never came back after taking our order. The host person delivered our meals. Waited 45 minutes after finishing- no one collected our plates and leftover food- barely edible so most of it was untouched. No one brought the bill and had to ask the unfriendly host by the desk and he reluctantly had someone bring it. They dropped it at the table without a word and no one came to get my credit card. I left the cash on the table and left. Will never go back 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I just walked out of the building right now and had a great experience with Julia and the server. My mom is in town visiting and she did an amazing job with everything. She helped make the atmosphere better even though it’s already pretty cold in there.
Went for dinner. Nice relaxing atmosphere good food. It was a little busy but we got our food pretty quick. Always something to watch on the TV.😆 Nice polite waiter.
Sat at a tiny corner booth and it was SO HOT. We waited 10 to 15 minutes to even have a server come to us. She took our drink and appetizer order while we waited AT LEAST another 15 minutes. NOTHING. Not a drink to be seen. Now it's been almost 25 minutes and did I mention it was HOT in there? Meanwhile the manager comes over and greets two men at a high top, chatting nicely and asked them if they had been helped. Didn't glance twice at us. The booth behind us had bad service as well. We decided to leave. Told the kids at the service counter we waited over 20 minutes and didn't even have a drink. The girl said, " Well, bye then!" 2 for 1s or not, this is unacceptable. Duffy's should be ashamed.
Waited 20 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge our table. Mind you it was DEAD in there. Than I don’t know if our waitress jaw was wired shut BUT I couldn’t understand her for the life of me. Too many workers standing around doing nothing. Than I don’t know what happen that someone brought a box of I’m guessing deserts for the crew and they all went nuts and all went into the back AT THE SAME TIME. I don’t know who’s running this joint but I must say it’s very very unprofessional. Manger (or what looked like a manager) yelling who wants to go home??!?! It was just a very weird experience. I got their burger which was just that a burger. Their boneless wings on the other hand were DELICIOUS! I would recommend! Would I go back? No, sorry I wouldn’t. I could only imagine that place busy……
Service was very nice. The food was terrible, I invited a friend for lunch. This was the first time. I felt embarrassed. The shrimp appetizer was served on Cole slaw that just looked and tasted like it was used from the day before picnic, left out and served. The breading on the shrimp was hard, with low quality shrimp. My friends steak was cooked to his preference, yet it was just bla. No pride to it...This place has potential, I feel bad for those working there that have to deliver food out like this with a smile. The place felt cramped in the booth, the table wasn't clean were you rest your arms. I'm not sure if I'll give this place another opportunity. Maybe another location though?
