Had such an amazing time here yesterday! Five of us gals stopped by, as we were on a road trip. The gal behind the counter was sooo patient and helpful, as we were all asking her questions at the same time!! Purchased the ham and cheese AND the beef pasties with gravy!! DELICIOUS!! Also purchased the cinnamon toast which is made locally. Holy cow!! LOVE IT!! Highly recommend stopping here for a very delicious, very pleasant experience!!

Yummy! We'd never had pasties before and we're glad we stopped for lunch! We also bought some frozen breakfast ones for the next morning to eat while we were camping for the Marji Gesick. They heated up great in the microwave. Yum!

Holy Wah! This was the best UP Pastie I've had thus far! The service was 110% amazing, quick, and the gentleman had the best attitude I've seen in a long time. This is now my go to place for pasties in Escanaba and the UP if I can swing it. Great job "Dobber's Pasties" you've got a lifetime customer for sure!

Hungry and cranky. They were cleaning up but open. Wanted 3 beef. They had 1 hot and tons frozen. I asked if they had any that weren't frozen. She had a number cooling for freezer. Score! Profit. And they are real like Cornish pasties: beef, onion, potato, swedes. NO CARROT! And they have a proper crimped edge. Seasoning perfect. Now gonna have to go to the UP State Fair and buy a bunch of frozen ones!

When traveling, I do my best to seek out and enjoy regional cuisine. Which means when I’m in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I’m eating a pasty or two. My family and I are staying in Escanaba on our way elsewhere, so our time here is limited. As such, I was a little worried that I’d miss the opportunity to enjoy a pasty - but when I saw that Dobber’s Pasties had a breakfast pasty (and that they conveniently open at 7:00am in the morning), I was stoked! I stopped by and grabbed a couple of their breakfast pasties and a beef pasty for later - and I am happy I did! The breakfast pasty far exceeds any grab-and-go fast food or hotel continental breakfast options, so if your passing through like we are, do yourself a favor and check out Dobber’s.

A woman with a beautiful soul sold me this heavenly pastie. What an enjoyable experience.

A must have if you’re in the area. My favorite was the breakfast pattie.

The girl who waited on me Justina was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, also made sure to wrap mine good since I had a 45 min drive to keep them hot. They were hot a yummy when I got to where I was going. She is a great employee. Will be back soon.
