Absolutely love The Edge. From the staff, to the food, to the owners; good quality. The menu is great, different than your average restaurant. The prices are certainly worth the food quality. Hands down, the best soup in the valley.

You can't always live life on the edge......but you can eat here!!! Excellent burger/rings and chipotle ranch sauce. Brenda's heart for service and hospitality will have you leaving with a happy smile and stomach! I will return......

Well the food was good but the service not so much. I never got a refill on any of my drinks. The wrong food was brought out the first time and we had to go and hunt the waiter down to pay our bill, watching servers slip and fall on their back next to the bar. That was interesting but this is probably some of the worst service that I've had in a long time. The food tasted good though when we finally got it.

Food is uninspiring. My server was wearing a "thrasher" tee shirt. Which I can appreciate in general, but not when I'm paying premium prices for surf and turf. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The view is ok, but frankly the view from my hotel room is just as good or better. The atmosphere is nothing special. Not worth your time.

Great atmosphere in small town. The food was good for the most part. Didn’t care for the bread, my halibut was a little dry and not much flavor. Others in our party enjoyed their steaks & Shrimp. Clam chowder was good. I feel it was a bit pricey for what we got.

We've eaten here twice over the last couple of weeks and have determined that it's worth the price - at the more casual dish level... NOT the $35+ per dish level.... Though to be fair we didn't try the high end dishes - but I would be concerned to try them. Our first visit I had a burger which tasted like a medium well to well cooked costco hamburger patty with average run of the meal (mill 🤣) fries... Nothing special. My second visit the pretty blonde server kept trying to get me to order the most expensive thing on the menu and seemed a little bummed when we ordered normal stuff. I got the dungeonous crab and shrimp "sandwich" ($23!!). It sounded good but failed to meet muster. The bread was under roasted and soggy. And the shrimp were rubbery. The dish lacked depth. The bread needed to be butter fried on the grill and maybe a drizzle of Alfredo or garlic butter on top of the seafood. And DO NOT let fish EVER sit under the heat lamp. Expo food! It's a small community so I understand and as I said the atmosphere is great so I will likely come again... BUT it's on the verge of being 86'd from my options list. Next visit needs to impress.

I really don't like leaving poor reviews. I do wish I had read some of the other reviews before going here. We were staying next door at the Best Western and decided to walk over. The scenery is nice on the patio. The one positive star would be that the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers were good. The rest was not good. Poppers arrived and we had no forks... eating with hands... but they gave us no napkins and they are quite greasy. Ordered our meals (Sun Dried Tomato and Spinach stuffed Tortellini & Sirloin Steak Alfredo). Meals also come with dinner salad. My husband ordered his steak "medium"... it came way over done and hard and leathery. It was bad. My meal was almost flavorless. Glasses sat empty with no drink refills. Our salads NEVER CAME. Our waitress wanted to push higher dollar menu items. It seemed once we weren't getting steaks or seafood, we were not worth her time. 2 hours spent there and we ate in less than 10 minutes. We asked for a check... 20 minutes later still no check. We had to go inside to try to hunt it down. We were shorted our salads, spent $84 on a dinner for 2 that was not good. I would never eat here again. Expensive, bland, bad service. And we paid for items not received. There are great places in town to eat that are less expensive, taste great and have wonderful service.

I will never eat here again. I do not support buisnesses with shady practices. There are too many inaccurate descriptions and prices online compared to what we ordered. Every time we searched anything about Orofino, this restaurant was mentioned as a must, constantly appeared. We called and made an order going by the menu on the website. Their website, not Google, not a picture someone posted, but from the menu on their official website. Picking up the order it was determined the prices for two meals were $13 and $11 more than listed on the restaurants website. Total of $24 more than expected. We would have ordered something else. The staff said they update the website but it keeps going back somehow. Hmmm??? The fish and chips $13 more was clearly listed as beer battered, however it was panko battered. Very disappointed. The food besides was good, the staff pleasant, but the management we were supporting in the small town is questionable. I will never eat here again.
