Food was not good at all. We ordered the pot roast first time came out cold they heated it up. It had no spice or taste to it at all. Took forever to get drinks. I got build ur own chicken wraps. Looks like they just threw everything on the plate. The wrap was crispy and my fries were nasty. And looked like they needed to change there oil. Not very good at all. Wont be back here again.
Not the best Dennys and not the worst. Place could use a serious deep cleaning and upgrade. Everything feels and looks well used. Food is mediocre and very standard for a low end Dennys. We are local and do not have this place on our eat out rotation. Service was slow and the kitchen slower. Not crowded enough to justify that. Was much better years ago. Edit: Closed down.
We went to the Denny's in The Villages tonight about 1:15am. After waiting 20min for someone to seat us the waitress informed us they would be closing at 2:30am for pest control. When we got to our table we were met by various size cockroaches running on the table. The waitress wiped them onto the floor and said I'll sit you someplace else. We declined and left. We use to love this Denny's and ate there often but after this incident we will never return.
I went to the Denny' s on E Silver Springs blvd on 07-28 around 1:00 pm. This is a horrible place to go for any occasion. I used to love this place, but I don't know what happened! The manager was happy, kind, and lit up the entire place! And then, I went in for a birthday lunch on July 28th. First of all, our waiter seemed upset that I wanted my grand slam! We waited far too long in an empty restaurant, only to be delivered microwaved food with runny eggs! MICROWAVED food after our wait?? There is no excuse not to cook fresh food if the dining room is empty. I couldn't even eat it. I didn't want to ask for fresh food because obviously nobody was in the mood to make it, and I didn't want any spit in my food. I'm never going back, and don't take anyone there for their birthday. This experience almost left me in tears!
Waited for service at 30 minutes after being seated and spoke to management about it, which turned out to be a huge misunderstanding; which afterwards the manager, server and cook made a huge effort to make sure that my dine in experience was perfect. Ate here several times in the past and the breakfast has always been great as well.
On a road trip and this was the absolute worse service I've ever had... there was no real cook said the waitress, the food took a hour n a half, when it finally came out it wasnt what 2 of my friends ordered, my food actually had a hair on it. Also the glasses of water were not cleaned well..... We ended up not eating the food. When we brought everything to the manager's attention laughed when we complained and still handed us a bill.. I don't understand how this place is still open!
Every time I go it is ridiculously slow it takes forever to be seated to order a drink to order food and to get food. It even takes forever to pay to leave! The food is either good or bad depending. The staff is a mix of nice or rude depending on who you get. If you don't wanna wait an hour to eat don't go.
My experience at this location, was one of my less desirable experiences. I would like to say that this location really needs to work on their table side manner and over all customer service. I came into this location at 4am just me and my boyfriend. Their was an officer already in who declined to order because he was waiting on others. Our server then comes over and ask what we would like to drink after stating she wasn't really a server she was a bartender at the pub that's attached to this dennys. Going forward we ordered some cheese sticks and then ordered our food. 5 minutes after our order was placed she then took the order of the officers as they where all present now. Mind you all that we ordered was French toast and pancakes. In this time our server never came back to check on us and their was a table behind us that still needed to be busted down since before we came in. Well after watching all five officers get their meals and 45 minutes later and the fact she never once came back to check on us or apologise for the delay anything, I decided to cancel my order. I stood at the counter for 3 minutes before she walked over and asked if we where ready to go. My boyfriend stated that after waiting 45 minutes for our order he wanted to cancel she then goes into the kitchen says it's almost out then ask the cook "has it really been 45 minutes." She then removes the meals off of my ticket never once apologised to us, says my remaining total and that "well we only have one cook." Still never apologising to us that her table side manner was horrible, she swiped my card for the remaining balance says this is my copy the bottom is yours and runs off. I'm sorry but I felt as a paying customer we where treated unfairly. After our order was placed we where never once checked on or even thought about. Once we left we where in the parking lot and our server/bartender comes out to smoke and then makes racial slurs to her Co worker (she's white he's black) with no regard that their is customers in the parking lot that are not white and just waited 45 minutes for their food without being checked on by you. So if you are wanting to be treated fairly, experience great table side manner, and not have to hear your server use racial slurs please don't go to this location.
