We went on a weekend and it was busy.. Though it was clean and nice, the place was under staffed. I did not like the food at all, chicken and potatoes were not even cooked properly and I paid a good amount for my meal. And the food was served a long wait. The service was not quick, I know there was a rush but there was a longggg wait. I am not eating there again because the food was tasteless.
Clean restaurant, and friendly staff. Food was made to perfection. Kids eat free everyday from 4p-10p per adult entree. Such a great deal. Perfect location right off greenback
Food quality here is always quite average for a Denny's, so there are no complaints there. However, if you arrive even a minute after 11pm, you're basically forced to order to-go or leave? Between that and the history of spotty service here, in general, and the intense wear and tear on guest amenities, it's not ideal, but I have to rate no higher than 3/5. The perfect rating for this place really feels like about a 2.5/5. I imagine the management and staff are simply doing their best to keep the lights on, but it's really a rough overall establishment and experience therein.
Wow, they had only one waiter worker inside the diner. We were seated and given menus, and then he left. The diner wasn't busy but had approximately ten customers eating. Approximately eight minutes later, he came back to our table. We asked a question regarding my wife's B-day meal. He then began shuddering, and then he said I'll be right back. He then came back three minutes later and brought our water. He couldn't give us a direct answer. So, we left and went to Taco Bell to have our meal.
adam was our server. myself and three grand daughters had dinner there. i was extremely impressed that adam was able to memorize all 4 of our orders without writing it on paper. and it was perfect. food was very good as well. thank you adam. we shall return.
They do such a great job with breakfast but their prices have skyrocketed for just eggs and pancakes. Overall, a good quality place to take the kids.
Love this location in Orangevale, California! The manager has been here for years and through the pandemic was consistent with crazy good service. Fine dine in, great for eat outside, (pandemic) good for to go, always good! Best staff! Wonderful people. Friendly, courteous, hard workers. I appreciate this restaurant. Christian was my server and wonderful.
Don't recommend getting the brisket sandwich. Meat was dry, cold, and hard to chew. Tasted like dog food between two pieces of bread. In other words, stick to the basics and you'll be fine.
