Didn't have an issue with this location really. Walked in and was seated right away. Our waitress came about a minute later and took our orders, brought us drinks, and then the food came soon after. Her service was on point. I ordered the Brisk-it-all Melt which was a sandwich with smoked burnt ends, two eggs, bacon, white cheddar, and Denny's sauce. I can say that the ingredients tasted good, however, it could not be eaten as a sandwich. The meat wasn't sliced and they were just big chunks. I just ate the inside of the sandwich with a knife and fork and left the bread alone. I would not order it again.
I’m a RV’er… I was very fortunate to have checked in at this Denny’s when my RV was being purchased, then, needing servicing I needed a motel/hotel to stay for a couple days. The motel wouldn’t permit my 25 foot RV in their lot so I asked at Denny’s if, as I’d be patronizing them, would they permit me? The manage (three different ones) welcomed me to stay and asked me if I could please park where I’d be out of the way. Very thoughtful folks with smiles on their faces and warmth from their hearts. I tried Three times to Tip the managers, each time they refused, so I (hopefully) tipped their Waiter/Waitresses appropriately to show my gratitude. The waitresses couldn’t believe it, I gave a short explanation of my thanks to them for their manager’s thoughtfulness and was told each time how much they liked their bosses (managers) it seems to be a thing with this Denny’s. All the waitresses, busboys… everyone I came in contact with were just plain Friendly Folks. I thought I could possibly say Thank You again for their over the top kindness they showed me. You folks helped me Way more than I let on, I’ll Never forget how good you folks treated me. I hope this review finds people who’d like a Good, Friendly atmosphere to enjoy a meal… these folks are worth dining with. Thank You Denny’s Norwalk Ca. The old bald headed guy with whiskers. 😉
This may be the nicest and cleanest Denny’s we have visited. Very friendly staff and the senior special salmon was great. Our server, Isaiah, was very nice and July was his birthday - tell him happy birthday!
The food was very good but my waitress was working alone and appeared to have not been too. Pleased being the only one on her shift she had to assist all the people in the restaurant. She definitely was not too happy about it.
This Denny's is great. Some of them are not so good, this one is excellent. Parking is super easy and the place is spotless. The service is very nice and fast, but they don't make you feel uncomfortable if you want to linger. We just loved our server. All of the food we had was great. I had eggs and pancakes. The eggs were cooked exactly as I wanted them and they were not tiny eggs like some places. They were so good. The pancakes were fluffy with butter melting over the hot and fresh pancakes. It was wonderful. My grandson decided to try nachos, and I tried to talk him out of it, as this is not a Mexican eatery. He insisted. He also wanted avocado on the top and they said they could do that. I was shocked. They were great. I tried them and they were hot, well seasoned and it was a large plate. He was in heaven. When we are back in town we will go to this Denny's. It is super.
We stopped at Denny's for dessert. We got the apple crisp with ice cream, berry vanilla crepe and French toast with strawberries. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back. However, what made our visit so enjoyable was our server. Isaiah was an absolute joy. He was so attentive, full of joy and went above and beyond for us. I have no doubt he will be successful in whatever he does. Thank you, Isaiah!
A Hidden Gem!! True value. Tasty food. And exceptional service. By far the BEST Denny’s I have ever been to. Other Denny’s need to take notice and be more like this Denny’s.
Much better than the last time I ate there. Eggs were perfect but the biscuit was hard.
