Understaffed, undertrained, underwhelming. Worst service ever. Been to a lot of Dennys including this one in the past. This time was by far the worst experience ever. Initial service took a while. Ordered food and it took 20-25 minutes. Came out cold. I sent it back and it came out undercooked. Asked to speak to the manager who was in the kitchen helping. Three of our four meals came out wrong, missing food, and or just bad. Waited for another 15 minutes standing at the counter for the manager to come out to speak. She dismissed the bad food, dissed the waiter who served us, then offered to write off the meal. Pretty sure she could care less if we ever showed up again. To whomever cares in the Dennys food chain, someone needs drop by your Midvale,UT location after 10 pm on a Saturday. You might find it most enlightening.
I have always found this Denny's to be a little disappointing which is a shame considering that it is the closest one to my house. They are always out of choccy shakes, and while the fries were banger this time, the club sanwiches are also usually mid. Again it is a shame to have to do this to my favorite franchise but I must stand by the policy for imparial and unbiased reviews that makes us here at Clabsauce Reviews so great. EDIT 9/4/23: Due to a recent Midnight Denny's experience at this venue I have raised my review from 4 to 5 stars. I do not feel it necessary to elaborate.
Xavier G was very nice, food was quick. My kids report that the sausages tasted great and the hash browns were amazing. Macaroni was also enjoyable, but the smoothy was the best part. There was quite music and no rush.
Do not get the eggs Benedict. Gross lumpy sauce. Not sure what kinda of sauce it was. Definitely not hollandaise sauce!!! Everyone's hash browns were cold and under cooked. Definitely not coming back. On a good note our server Kelsey was awesome and attentive?!!
2/3 of staffs are native Spanish speaking, they are lack of service professionalism. I sat next to the kitchen and heard quit a numbers of mixed up orders, wrong items and missing pancakes. Like us...should be 2 set of menus, one big and one small, but 3 of us got 2 big and 5 small menus. I used to eat Chills and Applebees, they gave exect menus to their guests. I want country-fried steak skillet and ended up 1 country-fried steak skillet and 1 steak skillet...my mom's order has pancakes and coffee, but forgot. It wasn't even full house... maybe half full. They need to retrain to meet the needs and demand. 2 years later, the service maybe slow but good improvement and much better than before. 29/7/23 Service should be half star because of last time visit, this time I did not order coffee because I don't want to stand up, wave my hand for refill. Food quality same.
Food and service were excellent. Got greeted and sat as soon as I walked in. Sabrina S. took really good care of me. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Really appreciate the time today at this location. Thank you!!! ☺️
We come here quite often, love this place. They are always friendly and offer fast service! Will always come back here! Food is always great, had Kelsey as our server and she was fast and attentive. Great service!
Decided to try this Dennys again. Had a wonderful experience. Sabrina was very attentive, our food was hot and very good tonight. Will definitely come in again, especially if we can get Sabrina as our server.
