Service was good. Food was delicious, hash browns were great. Smoothies were perfect. Restrooms seem dated with a tiny bit of a smell.
The single best banana pancakes I've ever eaten. I eat at Demny's for work sometimes and this one is the best there is! Service was incredible, but the pancakes were out of this world! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful that we felt like we'd just made a new friend. I told him that Denny's has to put the banana pancake recipe on the menu. Go eat here. You'll thank me.
Came in after a long flight and drive and had the most welcoming and friendly service from Juan. Such an amazing young man who did everything possible to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Thanks for your kindness, Juan. 😃
Not to sound picky because it was a Denny's.. but... I ordered the "Two Moons Over Hammy" omelet while pointing at the menu but received two egg sandwiches. My wife ordered the pumpkin spice pancake breakfast with two eggs over medium. Her eggs had an egg shell in them and they were definitely over very easy because we could see the cords attached to the yolks.
One of the few places that's actually open 24 hours. I got near home after 9:30 pm when most restaurants are closed. But I knew I wouldn't go hungry with this Denny's in Dana Point. The meal was absolutely perfect! Service was a bit slow at the beginning but was very attentive afterwards. Not much ambiance at this location and it feels closed in. But I'll be back for the convenience of the 24 hours.
It's not clean enough to recommend it. The coffee cup was not washed, so I had to ask for another one. The food was mediocre, and everything was just OK. The staff were polite and friendly, though.
Great location, right by the beach! I come here when I'm hanging by the beach for convenience or sometimes for a late night snack as this is one of the only places open 24 hours in the area. Good food, good service that being said it is Dennys.
I ordered two veggie burgers without onions for pick up. I asked the person who took the order to make sure that they give me a veggie burger and that to I am allergic to onions. I repeated 3 times to make sure they understood. They said no problem. I go there pick up the food, got home and we opened it - what they gave us was a bacon burger with extra onions. I called back and apparently it's an answering service in the Philippines. They are rude as hell, they won't connect you to the store and they refuse to put a manager on the call. I have called them eight times so far and they have hung up on me 8 times. I tried to call corporate but they are not open until Monday. This is the worst service I have ever seen anywhere. Denny's used to be a good company. What the hell happened to them?
