Waitstaff - 100% go getters and get their job done! Food quality (in my experience) looks great! Smells great! Tastes...tastless. Oh, and I HATE burnt toast, especially when it was skillfully covered up. Not the "Dennys" I've come to expect. ***Coffee at this (and every Dennys I've ever been to) was absolutely PERFECT! It's the kind of coffee that tastes awesome 24/7! This Dennys has the coffee spot on!
The food was good. Dennys pancakes are TOP TIER right now with their updates. Had my free dennys Value Slam. Can't beat that. I think they only had one server for the whole restaurant and this particular store (according to other locals) doesn't have the best reputation. But it did it's purpose, sat at the bar, got my free Denny's.
We ordered online and came to the curbside pickup area, and followed the instructions; one call was answered and we could hear stuff in the background. The next call, went straight to dial tone, after that it was just a repeated automated message. Don’t have a curbside option if you can’t answer the phone.
Pam was my server - she was excellent! Friendly. Attentive. Above and beyond to make sure everything was good. Food was excellent! Kudos to the chef! Except for the gravy - please, please use brown gravy for mashed potatoes! (Not the fault of the cook if all they have is white.) Location was super convenient and easy to find. I'm traveling and really just wanted Denny's! I couldn't believe how quiet it was! I'm just passing through, but this needed a review.
Passed through Amarillo haven't been to Denny's in along time. Elizabeth is a great server very attentive. The food was cooked perfectly. And the night manager was so sweet. I highly recommend if your passing through Amarillo and go by Georgia St stop in for great food and good conversation.
Horrible experience! Waited 1 hour for our food. No drink refills. Our food was served raw to us. My husband had a bug in his drink. They had literally 3 waiters and only about 4 parties in the whole restaurant. We were fairly understanding until we received our food and it was aweful and undercooked/overcooked. Beware this facility on Georgia St. in Amarillo!! Go to the one on Ross! If their busy just go somewhere else.
The food tasted great, but run through me. The waitress was friendly and got the order correct. She seem to be very busy with lots of tables. As there was a delay between drink refills.
Service was not good. We came late because everywhere else was very busy and there was maybe one or two tables inside. Waitress was not attentive at all, and was rude. She sat outside smoking while there were people waiting. Love Denny’s but they have got to get someone to have better service.
