The problem i have with this place is every damn thing on the menu is amazing. So i want to shout out to the crew here, because i always give them a few that are on my mind and they guide me towards the best choice with truly thoughtful and wise counsel! Nice atmosphere, very fair prices for how delicious and quality everything is. Come get a sandwich that is tailored to warm your heart and comfort your soul.. and make your belly real happy :3 Please tip well, these folks deserve it!

This place has become our number one sandwich spot in Boise. We absolutely love it! We came in on Saint Patrick’s day for a Ruben and have been back once a week since. HIGHLY recommend the Bacon Steakin’ Mushroom, the L.A.P.D and the Delicioso. We walk down once a week, get a couple drinks and try a new sandwich and haven’t been let down once. It’s very rare for my girlfriend to not make any modification on an order, but she orders everything as is here because it’s all great! Also they have very friendly staff, Austin was super helpful on our second visit and answered any dumb questions we had. He made us feel like regulars on our second visit in and we appreciate that!

I have been on the hunt for good sandwich shops in the Boise area and would consider my self an amateur sandwich connoisseur. Deli George is definitely up there in great sandwich shops. The atmosphere although a bit cluttered and dim was very homey. I tried the beef dip and the “Hey, that’s not Italian”. Starting with the beef dip. It was solid. The bread was really good, and the beer was well cooked. The dip itself was very good and have moisture to the sandwich. On the downside, there lacked sauce and seasoning. Thus, I would give it a 6/10. On the other hand, the “Hey, that’s not Italian” was superb. The bread was amazing, with peppers and herbs of sorts. The lettuce and sauce added the right amount of mistier, although it could have had a bit more sauce and salt. It was a really good cold saw high though. I’d give it a 7/10 but it could have a 7.5 potential if the addiction of more salt and sauces. Overall deli George was a great experience and I would recommend for a good sandwich if you are looking to spend a little.

Nice little place to eat. Order taker recommend the beef dip, said it was smoked all day.. this sandwich had to been the most tasteless smoked meat I've had. The caramelized onions didn't have any flavor, the meat needed flavor. I had to ask for horseradish to spread over to have something taste. Bread was soft. I would go back and try a different one when I come back. Disappointed in this one though

What a cool find! Kind of busy parking lot with the Chic-fil-A and Wendy’s, but definitely a welcome change to the traditional chain options. Pretty fast service and flavorful salads. The turkey bacon avacado sandwich was delicious. The grilled cheese was beautiful, but lacked that buttery rich bite. The chicken bacon salad and stuffed avacado salads were also fantastic!

Love this little hidden gem of a sandwich shop! The food is great, and the atmosphere is like walking right back in time to the 70’s. Low key, laid back, great service and a damn good sandwich! You can’t beat it! Forget Subway or Jimmy John’s and treat yourself while helping a local small business!

Hubby took me on a surprise date here after an appointment. He likes to go anytime he's in town. It has an old school feel but the food is modern. Sign in the window said Boise's only 5* deli and I can't tell you anything wrong so I'll say it is also! Sorry, my phone won't release the pics. I'd eat here again!

Great local Sandro shop that has a lot of history in Boise. You know I love me a good Ruben and this one did not disappoint. Could use a little more meat but that’s the only bad thing I could say about it. This is a classic hole in the wall deli with clutter and a little messy which is part of its charm. I hope this deli continues to thrive in this messed up world. Bonus, you can get beer and wine here with your meal!
