It was almost a home run. We started with their Ceasar salad, spring roll trio, and calamari. Everything was good except for the spring roll trio. The steak and cheese one was great, chicken parm one was delicious, then the buffalo chicken one was just drowning in blue cheese filling. It was not fantastic. Small portioned for the price, too. The bolognese was fantastic, perfectly cooked pasta. The risotto was not terrible. The steak was not bad. The mac and cheese side was really cheesy and luscious. We asked for brussle sprouts as a side and got green beans, which is weird, but we didn't send it back, so that's on us. The desserts were ok. Tiramisu, cheesecake, and bourbon toffee cake. The only really good one was the cheesecake. The Tiramisu was not terrible. The burbon toffee cake tasted like a piece of cake doused in alcohol. I do not recommend. The part that really sort of made left us on a negative note was when the waiter took our food to pack it up, he stuck his fingers in the food when grabbing all of the dishes. We had quite a lot left over too and we ended up tossing it. It made it worse that we saw the guy wipe his sweat off his face right before. So, other than that, it wasnt too bad!

I recently attended a work event at Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse and unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. While we did not have the opportunity to try the food on the menu, the tomato soup that was served looked and tasted old and the arugula salad lacked any significant flavor, with a very light olive oil dressing. The chicken sandwich did not taste special in anyway. Was small and lacked flavor. Overall, my experience at Davio's was underwhelming due to the lackluster food quality. However, the restaurant may still be worth a visit for those looking for vegetarian options or a kid-friendly dining experience.

My friend and I came here for a birthday dinner, and had heard great things about their pasta dishes. Was in the mood instead for steak and fish, but was unhappy with the food. The 8oz filet mignon looked more like 4oz and didn’t come with any sides. So my friend ordered a side of mashed potatoes and mushrooms and the two almost came out to $30! So basically she spent $70 on her steak dish. I had the cod which looked amazing but was super salty. Didn’t want to send it back because service was exceptional and they really went above and beyond in spite of the food. Next time I’ll just stick with the pasta if I come here.

Service was fantastic. But. This had to be literally the most unseasoned thanksgiving meal i ever had. I spent $160 for the meal, side of mac and cheese, a cocktail, dessert, and added a tip. I only kinda enjoyed the mac and cheese but even that had a weird aftertaste as if they put in some weird fancy cheese that normally doesn't go in most mac and cheese. Butternut squash puree is good. But the veggies tasted like they were simply steamed and that's it. Turkey crumbled in my mouth and was very hard to swallow with the tiny little bit of gravy on top. Stuffing was extremely unremarkable. I never felt bad writing a review like this before because the staff was so incredible and the chefs in the kitchen looked like they were working hard. But does this picture look like an $85 plate to you? I would pay $20 at best. I'm sure they have other amazing dishes but that thanksgiving dinner was not it ❌❌

Great food and excellent service. The menu has a nice selection of Italian favorites with some new twists. The seafood options were fresh and well executed - we had both calamari for an appetizer and I enjoyed the lobster risotto. The service was friendly and attentive and happy to make accommodations for a party member with a food allergy. The items range from reasonably priced to more expensive with the grilled items, but there are enough options for everyone. A great place for a special night out.

had lunch in the Boylston venue. Bad quality Italian food presented with linens and fanfare so you can be charged a lot. Gave me heartburn, as bad Italian is wont to do. 2 tables full in an enormous space. 5 staff members looking for something to do. profoundly depressing experience

We went to Davio’s for a post-Christmas dinner. This was our splurge meal for the year and it did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection and the added bonus of the caramelized onions on the side with the steak was a pleasant surprise. We had the meatball appetizer as suggested by our waiter and it was delicious. The table service was quick and efficient. Overall, I would definitely frequent Davio’s again.
