Top Ten. The food is out of this world. Exclusive feeling and authentic! I had the veal and bananas flambé. I can not wait to eat here again and try another A list dinner! Lorri was my server, she knocked it out of the park. Excellent experience!
Had a fantastic dinner here. Our group ordered the Wiener schnitzel, pork chop, and veal, all were delicious. Then for dessert had the cherries jubilee and peach flambé, we were super impressed. Helmut came out with orange Schnapps at the end. We were all so glad we stopped here for dinner while passing through town.
Great find for unique dining in Jeff City… lots of German food & beer plus a generous menu beyond that. Desserts and dessert drinks were top notch.

What an amazing, absolutely DELICIOUS gem in Jefferson City! The food is phenomenal (as avid German food enthusiasts with Serbian heritage, we like to think we know what we're talking about ;) but it's the atmosphere, people, and overall experience that truly make this place special. Helmut, the owner, is incredibly charismatic and truly loves this place, the food, and the people who come to share it with him, as he treats you like family. Having been to Berlin, where Helmut is from, I can also say it's such an authentic German experience - down to the incredibly generous portions (you're going home with leftovers, accept and luxuriate in the knowledge of a second stellar future meal) and the complementary (and delicious!) after dinner apertif that Helmut brings out and drinks with you, all topped with a toast!
First time earing here. The food was wonderful. The service was great. Will be back to r Try something different on the menu.
We love coming here! Great everything with authentic German food and spirits! Perfect for date night, very quaint setting and great staff. Helmut is a great person.
This little place is amazing. The owner is a little old man who still cooks all the food. It is traditional German food and it is amazing. The prices are great and the entire staff is super friendly. Will definitely be going back.
