Popped by for lunch last week. I have always done dinner here but never lunch. Great lunch menu. The Wedge salad is the perfect starter. Large enough to share. Granted I wish it came with red onion instead of white. Split the Baseball sandwich. Will definitely stop in the next time I'm in the area. I need to try their Cuban sandwich.

Old timey steakhouse with delicious food. Father's day late lunch before a movie. Love the sourdough, crackers & garlic cheese bread. Started with a shared rock shrimp plate. Had the bone-in rib eye, lobster thermidor and the prime rib. Loved all 3 entrees. Garlic scalloped potatoes were really good. Overall it was a wonderful Father's day meal.

This place is a classic. The food is not as good as I remember, and I don't think they have a shrimp fra diavolo that they used to have. The iceberg wedge I got was so gloopy with blue-cheese it was over the top. The poor man's pepper steak was pretty good but by the time I had finished the salad I really wasn't that hungry. also we had the wheel of Brie as an appetizer, at first I thought it was too small but we're so rich we didn't finish it. The vegetarian options were super weak. But the service was attentive and the atmosphere is one of the best around. I love the music in the bar and the people watching is outstanding. All the fixtures are really great and I love the sign font. It's a really great night out even if the food is not that great. The valet shared a chicharrón and it was good

Going to the Dal Rae you will surely be satisfied. Our first experience was disappointing, but one of the owners, Lauren, reinvited us to the restaurant to ensure we had a lovely evening. We had our anniversary dinner here and it was a stellar experience, service is more than immaculate. Our server Angel lived up to his name, the man could've came from heaven with the service he provided and I would believe it. The Dal Rae truly deserves 5 stars. Not many restaurants would provide my significant other and I the experience we were given tonight, and even fewer restaurants would make amends with a customer for a disappointing evening. I have seriously never felt so taken care of by a restaurant in my life. Working in the service industry you know some nights service simply don't go as planned. It's understaffed, incredibly busy, it can be one of many reason. Even if that happens to you here, I promise you will be taken care of and treated like family. They have earned a customer for life, and on special occasions this restaurant will be a treat to return to.

This my first time coming to this place. I had no idea what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was great. My scheduled time was 5:30pm. After walking out around 6:50pm, there were cars trying to get in from the street. It was super packed. Word of recommendation: be mindful of busier times. So don’t come late for your reservation. Got here early honestly. Sea bass and the pepper steak, both staple items here from what our server told us. These were great choices! Totally satisfied. Also, not on the picture, we ordered fried zucchini. Those tasted great. If you are looking at old menus, don’t be fooled. Their food costs went up like every else after 2022. All to say. Great fine dining place in the middle of the hood. I guess that’s what makes LA… LA👏

Old classic garmento restaurant. You really can't go wrong with anything you pick from the menu. We had oysters in the half shell. I usually prefer them small but this was beyond small so I felt we didn't get our money's worth. Got more of the juice than the oyster. Oh well. The prime rib was amazing and the demi filet mignon with mushrooms was amazing.

The food is superb as you would expect. I found it a bit loud and had some trouble communicating with the wait staff so it must have been loud for them as well. The pace of the meal was leisurely and it is actually very well priced for an iconic and upscale restaurant. I would go back for another special occasion or to treat company. Parking is Valet only.

Milestone location with plenty of character. There is valet parking. No street parking as it is off a large multi lane street. But there is plenty of parking on residential streets just east of the restaurant. They have a loyal, and large following. Recommend reservations. Slightly upscale attire required (no flip flops, shorts, etc.). Plenty of dining options - main room, outdoor patio, bar, etc.. traditional menu. A bit pricey, but seems to be paying for part of the overall experience. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional.
