User Reviews

This is my first Dairy Queen Grill and Chill at a Strip Mall for lunch. Workers had good attitudes and food was fabulous.

I ordered a cake and the print out was very wrinkled when they placed it on. They said they had an issue with the printer. Fine, it can happen to anyone. I went another time to order cones, I have always gotten cones in a cup when I am alone and order 5 cones for my kids at other Dairy Queen locations. I asked for cups and they refused. They made the cones prior to making the blizzard and so I had to wait as the cones melted. Terrible attitude by manager that was working there. She seemed nice to the white people that arrived after me though. Do not recommend this location.

Odd experience. Waited in a 10 minute line for 30 minutes. Get to front and they just ignore us, like literally, acted like we weren’t there. They’d walk up to the register to do something and not even look up. They had 5 employees working so plenty of staff. After about 5 minutes, I ask how much longer before someone would take our order. They confer, say, well we have all these online orders that came in before you and we have to do them. For the next 10 minutes they proceed to totally ignore the line in the store. There were ample employees to handle all the customers. There was no leader running the team. Half of the employees weren’t doing anything. It was a cluster f. I’ve never seen a restaurant stagger online and in store orders. To add insult to injury, we ran into a friend who placed an online order after we had already been in line for 15 minutes and they got their order 20 minutes before us. So all of us in line were actually waiting before many of those Door Dash orders came in. Now that I got this off my chest l, I see the owner chimes in, hopefully she can resolve this. I don’t think this would have bothered me so much if the employees weren’t acting like the customers were creating problems by existing.

While I appreciate giving teenagers an opportunity to work, there doesn’t seem to be any adult supervision or oversight of the crew behind the counter. Training and constant oversight is important for a young staff in order to deliver a five star customer experience. I have found the receipt for the day and question. The receipt is dated August 8, 2023 order ID AAA 9WLPJAEDN the time punch Dennis 8:30 PM employee Amelia the ticket number was 194 for a peanut buster parfait and a large caramel sundae. I had ordered an all chocolate peanut buster parfait, but when I returned home and opened up the package, it was a regular peanut buster with vanilla soft serve.

All the workers looked as if they didn't want to be there. Asked them if my order was ready but there was no clear system/response for which orders corresponded to which order numbers. Like others have mentioned, odd experience.

Excellent DQ location With amazing burgers and blizzards. We ordered three double cheeseburgers with Oreo blizzard and all of them were delicious. The female employee working was especially friendly and helpful.

Don’t bring your teenager daughters to this DQ. The owner hit on my 14 yr old daughter, said disgusting words to her, and it was very inappropriate. When I confronted the 2 employees, one employee apologized 5 times and I accepted his apologies. The manager continued to be disgusting, disrespectful and give me his rude attitude. Don’t bring your underage daughters here because the manager is a disgusting rude person. If I could give a negative -5 then I would. I will never go back here again.

Great ice cream!
