Terrific Meals, A winner. A great new BYOB in Glenside which, before da Ludovica, had nothing like this restaurant. This is the real thing. Nice atmosphere, the previous space was nicely done over and is beautiful. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers and entrees. Appetizers of goat cheese stuffed tomatoes and salad, just scrumptious. A rib eye prepared to perfection with a nice demi-glaze and fresh mushrooms accompanied by veggies and potatoes. My wife loved her pistachio encrusted salmon and seafood risotto. Delicious breads and bruschetta. Our meals couldn't have been better. Personable / friendly owner and staff. Ample parking in the rear. Accepts credit.

Walked in at 6:30 on a Saturday night to only one other seated table. Ok....We'll still give it a go. Found out quickly that the waiter is the son of the owners. The father is a talkative fellow in an apron and the mother is a stern looking woman who stands at the front desk and makes pasta too. We ordered an appetizer, which was tasty. The owner walked over from the one other occupied table of 4 to our table. His introduction was "nice to see you again"!! Ummmm....We don't know you. He proceeded to chat with us for a couple of minutes then promised to "bother us again later". Next, the entrées arrived. My husband and I eat fish no meat....My mussels entrée arrived with pancetta in it, which was not listed anywhere on the menu. I immediately push my plate away and so did my husband in a show of solidarity (love him) and we sat for at least 5 minutes. The owner was only 5 feet away from us, but never bothered to ask why we were not eating. Finally my husband called for the waiter and informed him there was bacon in my pasta, which was a surprise to us. He asked "was it on the menu"? NO we said... He was clearly flustered and asked if I wanted anything else. I said no, my husband and I would split his entrée. In my opinion unless they offer to remake BOTH entrees it's not really worth it. What shall I do? WATCH my husband eat while I wait for my food AGAIN? The waiter was nice, but in a difficult spot. Neither of the owners came to our table, the father continued to chat up the table 5 feet away. The mother never made another appearance. The waiter made a point several times to say I would not be charged for the entrée....Um...Thanks....I didn't eat it!! Next was desert, good! Cake and truffles. Then came the check.... We gave him our Visa card and he used a smart phone swipe thing several times. Apparently it didn't work, and he told us it was our card. Our card didn't work. I quickly logged into our banking account to make sure everything was ok, and there were not any notifications of a canceled card due to hacking. NOPE, FINE!!! So my husband, again I love him, walked down the street and took money out of an ATM with the SAME CARD!! We ended up paying $3 in surcharges. At NO POINT did the talkative owner come over to apologize or ask how we were. He continued to chat 5 feet away. As we left out of shear frustration at spending $70 for a horrible experience did I ask to speak with the owner. He came over CLUELESS to the situation, and acted like we were crazy for being upset. NEVER AGAIN!! Save your money, go ELSEWHERE!!

The food is amazing. Convenient off street parking lot in the back. Authentic Italian BYOB! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
