Second visit was not ok. I wanted to process my thoughts over night. I wasn’t a fan of the alfredo sauce which seemed watery and brown and bland. I discussed it with the server after taking literally only one bite and I had my husband take one bite to see if he liked it. Waiter took food and brought back a few minutes later to set it back down. I explained I would like something else. He sent someone else owner or manager not sure. She didn’t seem to happy and made a comment that maybe its not the jarred sauce Im used to. Funny thing is I haven’t had to eat jarred Alfredo sauce in over 20 years. Nothing against jarred sauce at all but it was the remark as if thats all I could afford. I ordered pollenta told waiter Id rather try that he then took my tortellini with alfredo. Pollenta was ok loved the texture not a big fan of the sauce. We ate then ordered two desserts in addition. We really enjoyed one dessert the berry mascarpone cake it was moist and so delicious. We got the bill and they charged me for two plates minus half of one dish. Nothing I could say but at least they could have communicated that Im paying for the plate whether I liked it or not, in addition to another one before taking the plate. Not excited about our experience spent over $100-$150 per visit on two separate visits in a three week period. So I was hoping for a little better. We love spending money dining out frequently in our community and supporting our community but we also like good experiences. Ive kind of discussed this with friends before writing this. I just feel terrible as This was not the best experience. I try to leave great reviews but this one was overall disappointing.

Solid Italian restaurant in old downtown Angels Camp. New ownership. Good, if small, menu with a good balance of choices. Solid wine list as well. Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was well patronized on a Sunday night.

Food was very good, however my pasta only had 2 shrimp, 2 scallops and little crab meat. For the price I would expect more seafood (four each)?

Food was absolutely phenomenal! Dessert blew my mind and the service is quite impeccable. Steak cooked to perfection, ordered it medium and it came medium. Fish tasteful. Calamari was crisp and delicious. Wish they had more of these restaurants.

Very pleased to see this excellent restaurant open again! We will be back. Thank you!

Great food and service. Definitely recommend.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I don't want to over hype this for you, but this place was some of the best food I've ever had. The service was great and the food was even better. I got the Crusco pasta (below). Everything is made in house and is amazing. It runs about $20 a plate, but it is well worth the price!

Wonderful establishment. Excellent food, atmosphere was superb, and the waiter was above and beyond excellent. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.
