I took the kids out for Brunch and I can say the food was Delicious I ordered a Homemade Chicken Pot Pie one of my kids had Chicken and waffles the other one had biscuits with gravy, eggs and home fries. The service was great definitely family friendly we will definitely be back to eat here...
We love diners and we don't see good a lot of good ones anymore. We were across the street getting new tires put on so decided to walk over to the Diner. So glad we did. Hubby had a nice big breakfast. I had a toasted bagel. They were very prompt in bringing coffee and doing refills. The place is spotless and busy but they handled everyone very well. I noticed the outside seating with umbrellas which was a nice addition. Didn't realize they have a diner in Shelton CT which is where my Real Estate company is headquartered. You pay at the register on the way out. If you love diners this is a good one for sure!
We went to the Cromwell on a Sunday morning around 10:45am. Place was absolutely packed. They were only a few parking spots left. Despite how crowded it was we got seated immediately. The waitress came to take our order right away and the food was delivered very fast. Everything was delicious. The home fries were one of the best I've ever had. Pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Cromwell diner.
We had a good experience for our 1st time. Thankfully the diner was crowded, there was no wait time. We were seated right away. Our server was new but she was very friendly. The food took a little long to come out and it wasn't piping hot. The flavors were good. A little pricy for a diner but overall a good time. I appreciate diners with all the pop up chain restaurants. We will visit again
Amazing service. We were seated quickly and our waiter came by really fast. He was friendly. I ordered the Big Cromwell Breakfast and they have the best pancakes. Incredibly delicious pancakes. I'm giving 4 stars because my fiancee ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was bone dry. Completely inedible. But everything I ate was great. Just thought I'd be honest about the full experience. We were in and out pretty fast so that's always great.
I stopped in to have a quick bite with mom. We just needed to talk. The waitress sat us down in the best booth and served us just what we needed. Hot coffee. The food was just perfect , we both are on special diets and we were able to order our food just as we needed it to be without a lot of fuss. I have never had bad service or bad food here. Great place to just enjoy the food and each others company or just a day with mom.
This is my second time going. It was night and day. Best to go there when it just opens in the morning. A more pleasant experience. The last time I was there, it was packed. Didn't have to wait for a table or food. Wife didn't like the food. It was missing something this time around.
Was in town visiting family and made room in my schedule to stop and have breakfast. So glad I did, great food and service. Definitely will return on my next visit to Cromwell!
