We like to stop at the Cracker Barrel in Vero Beach as a break from the highway to and from Orlando. We have been here many times. Our most recent stop was for lunch and is typical of our experience. The store is always clean and inviting with well maintained rest rooms. We were seated right away for lunch and had the catfish and chick and dumplings meals. Our food was delicious. Our only negative critique is that the delicious biscuits seem to have shrunk. We thought we got the kiddie biscuit by mistake, but no, they are smaller now, which is unfortunate. Service was very polite and efficient. We will be back to this Cracker Barrel on our next trip to Orlando and hopefully Cracker Barrel goes back to the original size of their biscuit.

Update: 9/2/23 went to breakfast and it wasn’t what we’re used to. As well as everything was almost cold when it arrived, the sodas were flat (no carbonation), the service was so, so service was slow. Wonderful Service, although this time it was a little wait on dinner.. Always love Cracker Barrel- Love to Shop after dinner! Breakfast at anytime.

I know there's a lot of people that love cracker barrel. So I'm going to speak about breakfast. I've had breakfast at cracker barrel three times in the last 6 weeks. It's loud in there! The waitress was young and she was nice and helpful. I will tell you that the food simply taste frozen and reheated. Maybe years ago they served fresh food. I mean the eggs were tiny... The biscuit tasted like plastic.. The bacon is way way too fatty. Yes it's nice to have warm syrup. But put some flavor in that pancake! You simply cannot compare these franchise restaurants anymore with homemade family-owned breakfast restaurants. You can't! When you eat true homemade biscuits made by a family in their kitchen... And they special order their meats like huge juicy sausages and nice thick meaty bacon and then you try to compare it to cracker barrel these days... Forget about it! I know many people are loyal to cracker barrel. That's fine. But you're not going to convince me that the food is anything but subpar! Wake up.

With this economy. I am looking for reasonable prices on food. Food is delicious!! I had to wait 20 minutes to be able to get a table, but it's worth waiting. Great customer service. I ended up purchasing some items from the store at the entrance of the restaurant. I just loved the country style store.

I would love to give this place a -5 rating only they allowed it. We sat and waited for our food an hour and a half and when it came out it had all been sitting underneath the heat lamp for at least 30 minutes. There were five of us and no one had fresh food. What really makes me sad as the fact that they tried the fetus this food. I don't recommend anybody come to this place. There needs to be a lot of training at this cracker barrel

Cracker Barrel is one of those places where you just have to go to get the nice southern fell and hospitality. Walking in first thing you get to explore the shop which reminds you for the general stores from the olden times. There’s a lot of candy, shirts and stuff, they even have a season section too. In the dining area has a fireplace for decoration and is quite spacious. I started my morning with some cold orange juice. Then I had my buttermilk pancakes with some eggs and bacon. I do believe that the syrup for the pancakes was my favorite experience lol. This simple breakfast was so delicious!

Food arrived quickly and as expected except my daughter's fruit bowl never came and we were charged for it. I didn't know that they now serve mimosas, that was a nice treat.

Waiter named Frankalicious was great! The food was absolutely terrible! I ordered a burger and they can’t even cook the burger to the customers liking. Could’ve tasted way better! The corn muffins were very dry and they dried moistening it up by mixing it with butter. Which made it taste like cardboard with butter. The fries were very bland and tasted like cardboard. These cooks can’t cook. I don’t recommend going here unless you feel like eating cardboard with fat.
