Never get house salad as it is 2 dollars more. Not happy 😒 then get food and hardly anything small amount. Most of shrimp were hard pieces and not able to eat Happy place cafe in shorewood is much better.

The staff at this location is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was there with a friend for lunch when another one of our friends called us and decided to join us. I made our waitress aware of the situation and told her that if she wanted we could go to another table since we were already done with lunch. To my surprise she said absolutely not stay here and take as long as you want. Yes!!! We gave her a very generous tip since she was super wonderful. Thank You Michelle P. for the awesome service and great attitude, you're truly one of kind. Update 04/30/2022 After all this years and after the covid-19 pandemic Cracker Barrel remains one of the most affordable restaurants in the industry. Their portions are still very reasonably and their prices have not gotten out of control. If you're looking for an affordable family meal, I highly recommend this establishment for your entire family. Update 06/12/2023 Cracker Barrel has made a lot of changes to the menu, so next time you order your favorite meal may not look the same. They cut back portions, quantity and made some items side orders for an additional price, so make sure you look at the menu closely and ask your server to help you out.

Such a pleasant place to have a nice dinner with family. The service was outstanding taking care of our every need. Never had a empty glass of water. The food was great and the portions for the price were outstanding. Definitely was filled up when leaving. Also, to work off some of that food, doing a little browsing in the store as we left was a lot of fun.

Great food in an old country store atmosphere.. This place makes you feel like home. Never had a bad experience.

Simon the manager is wonderful! He was working expo and stepped out from what he was doing on a busy Sunday morning to assist our table who's service was less than exceptional. Only 2 entrees came out when we ordered 1 shareable, 2 sides, and 4 entrees, we had no silverware, no refills, and I'm not sure if it's procedure now-but i had to pour our waters in the empty cups provided for the kids which is not the kind of service I step out of the house for. Not once we're we checked on until Simom came to the rescue.

Kinda disappointed by the racist service here. Came here to treat my parents since they wanted to get brunch here. They were pretty busy as they always are. Waited 20 min for a table for 3. When I went to get in line for a table, all 3 hostesses were helping one person. They were not efficient in their work and long waiting lines were formed. What really shocked me was our server. She was an older lady and understandably slower then the rest. She took our order and brought us the food but each time she would come to check on us, she would only address my dad and wouldn't care to even look at my mom and myself, probably thinking thay her tips will come from him. I had to ask someone else to find her so I can add more food to our order. Which she later forgot to bring or even put in on time. She never asked how the food was or if we need refills on our water but she would bring lemonade refills to my dad without even asking. That type of service was not appreciated. Food here is good as expected. Pancakes were not prepared right this time, but normally I get great pancakes here. They were kinda low on inventory in the shop too but I am sure they will get more stuff soon.

7pm on a Saturday night. Parking is ample and clean. Restaurant and store are clean after a long busy day. We were seated immediately. I had the southern fried chicken with 2 sides. Apples and baked potatoe. Service was quick and hot, but I had to wait for my potatoe. Table service was good. Food was hot. Prices are good for the servings. Coke soft drink products. No background music in the restaurant. Music was in the store. Overall good bang for the buck.

Loved the Classics Sampler! Meatloaf, Hand-breaded Sunday Homestyle Chicken, carrots, mac and cheese and biscuits. Plenty of food at a great price.
