excited to see loaded HBR as an appetizer option, it was TASTY (5/5)! Fried pickles were good, had a little kick to them (4/5). Roast Beef (chicken pot pie was going to take upwards of 20+ minutes to cook) 4/5. veggie platter: dumplings (2/5) watery, green beans (1/5) they were not edible, fried okra (1/5) soggy and cold, greens (2/5) asked for hotsauce, someone took the restrictor off and I poured a 1/2 a bottle of tabasco on my greens, ate them anyhow. The real disappointing part was the service. Waitress dropped the ball on several occasions. first, there was no return visit to ask how our meal was when it was dropped off; i had asked for some condiments and had to flag down another server. needed refills on drinks; when they were refilled, refilled with sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea. would have liked to comment on some of the dishes i ordered but was not given the chance. just sucked it up and got back on the road. restaurant was pretty much empty.

We were on our way home from Florida and stopped for the night in Rocky Mount. We had a wonderful dinner! The food and service was great! We had salads, dumplings, chicken and lots of amazing sides! We've never been disappointed by a Cracker Barrel, wherever we end up stopping at one!

Upon entrance, the place smelled dirty. The ladies lavatory reeked of urine and defecation. The toilets were nasty and one was stopped up. After departing the restroom, I really wanted to leave. However, we were almost 2 hrs away from home. In any case, we decided to stay and try out the food. The server was a young lady whose name satrted with an A. She was very attentive to us and displayed a great attitude. However, the fried catfish that we ordered was horrible. It tasted like very low-grade and disgusting oil. They definitely did not use peanut oil. The apperarnce of the fish looked so delicious. Nevertheless, it was nasty. The manager asked us if we wanted something else or would we prefer the cooks to fry more fish. We told her, “No thank you. We do not trust the process.” Needless to say, we left out still hungry. I was insulted that she insist that we pay for the drinks. The drinks should have been complimentary since they served us nasty food in a nasty restaurant. In any case, we tipped the server for her time. It was our fault for staying after visiting a filthy bathroom.

Cracker barrel is my go to when I am traveling for long road trips. They have a wide variety of tasty foods. Breakfast options are a wonderful go to I personally suggest the French toast. Chicken fried chicken is also amazing for lunch and dinner.

The staff was excellent, from the ladies in the store to the wait staff. Our food was hot and promptly served, and our coffee cups were kept filled and hot. The food looked better than the ads...when does that happen?

This Cracker Barrel was great. The store is themed for hollowed and Christmas service was fast and the food was delicious. The restaurant was very clean. Not a lot of customers at the time of the morning I came in, so the service was fast and responsive. You are now able to pay from your phone, which is a welcome addition to the convenience at Cracker Barrel.

Terrible experience, a waitress who treated us like we were an inconvenience any time we needed anything or weren’t ready to order after 3 minutes. Our meal took ages for a plate of sides and a kids Mac and cheese - but one person in our party had her actual entree 15 minutes before everyone else. Travelers be warned, not a place you want to stop.

Where do I begin! We ordered our food, waited over 30 mins just to get cold food and to be told that our grandmother’s meal, they didn’t have it to make. They tell us this after she has waited all that time! The server says she can’t do anything about any of this inconvenience. I had to request to speak to a manager that took a little off our ticket but not nearly enough for the experience we had. I have always loved Cracker Barrel but this one, we will Never come back!!
