We love Cracker Barrel but our experience last night wasn’t ideal. The hostess was very rude and seemed annoyed. Our food was good except one piece of chicken being burnt. But our server was very nice and accommodating.
Absolutely got the worse waitress ever! We waited about 20minutes to get a table, normal Cracker Barrel. But at the table we waited for our waitress to acknowledge us. She was so slow. My husband chose hamburger steak(medium well), fries and okra. I ordered the fried fish plate with mac & cheese and dumplings. We both chose sweet tea and biscuits. The tea tasted sour to me, so i traded for soda. It took along time, she brought it to me and told me they had to wash a glass. ONE HOUR before our food came. My husband got his... the hamburger steak was "crispy", and dry.. he only got his okra, had to ask for his fries. So all my food came out... my " fish" was so over cooked (see pictures) that there was NO fish. Waitress laughed about it and said she would get me some more. She tried to take the bad fish and i said i want to see the manager. She even told the lady at the next table that the cook was trying to send out more bad fish. It was funny to her. Manager took my food off of the bill. I think it all should have all been comped. Manager was very understanding. I hate it but i do good reviews and bad reviews because people should know. We did give a tip, didn't feel right not to. Oh yeah the biscuits were good.
Not used to giving a bad review for Cracker Barrel bcse we’ve been to them all over the country and they have always been terrific! But this one was very disappointing and we won’t be returning to this location! There’s several around this area so we have choices! But she, our server, just disappeared and we had to ask to our biscuits 3 times to finally get them and she only brought 2!!! We asked for more we got them after we got a Togo box and our stomachs were full! Never refreshed our drinks again we asked but we ended up asking another wait person to get them. The poor ladies sitting next table over had the same woman and they asked another waiter to please bring them their cornbread even though they had also finished eating!!!
We had breakfast there this mornin, the food was delicious as usual and our server, Taylor, was more than the best. I like my bacon nearly burnt an she handled it like a champ. Didn't say or look at me sideways for sendin the bacon back twice. Great food and even greater service.

Our food was awesome! I ordered the catfish dinner, Chris ordered the beef, shrimp and chicken finger sampler. My fish was fried light and crispy, his beef tips were seasoned to perfection. We experienced a short wait for our table and food. The staff was extremely polite. We will stop here often when traveling.
Good food. Nice store. Everything was clean. Entire staff was friendly. Our server was awesome! She kept the drinks full and was great with the kids
Went I expecting good comfort food. Got seated and waited 15min. Finally got a waitress, she took our order. And disappeared. A table of 12(mostly kids). OVERWHELMED.1/2hr later some one else drops off our food. We asked for bread n butter. We were done eating by that time. Disappointed!!
