We love Cracker Barrel!! The food is excellent and the service was very good & fast despite being very busy! Aside from the food, the gift shop is the best; SO much cute stuff!!!
I ordered grits and sausage, the menu stating the prices the waitress asked how many sausage patties I wanted I said 3 she said perfect. ... Not so ... I got 2 small parties and a bowl of grits. I mentioned the sausage and the waitress said I will check on them... After I was done eating 15 minutes later she came by and said it will be about 15 minutes before I get your pattie lol I think they had to raise the pig first. I said forget it ... When I got my bill the grits were $6.39 ... Menu said $1.99 lol . I mentioned it while paying and the girl at the register said that is wrong that is the charge for pinto beans. The manager came out in a huff saying I should be happy with what I got . They don't serve large bowls of grits so they charged for pinto beans meal. She was rude and overbearing and could care less for customers or employees. I think she should consider a career change , perhaps in the penal system.

We stopped in after waiting in traffic to cross the bridge. Good place to have lunch the wait for table and food didn't take long. I wish some of there special items were available any day of the week. Service was good at this location. The bathroom could have used a better cleaning then it has received. Picked up a few things in the gift shop before moving on with our vacation. I think you will enjoy it stop in and give them a try. I will probably be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit for breakfast on Sunday morning. It was fairly busy but you wouldn't have known by the great service and quick food. All of the food came out correctly and our coffee cups were never empty. Even though we all ordered large meals, nothing was left in the end as it was delicious. Everything was fantastic throughout!
The food looked nothing like the picture. I came for the dumplings, he came for the biscuits. Both were just bad. Dumplings were actually disgusting. The steak tips/bites came in a clump. Raw in the center when pulled apart. I loved this place at one time... now it's pure disappointment and disgust. Do better!
My wife and I had a very poor experience at Cracker Barrel, some time ago. Because of that, we’ve been hesitant to try it again. We decided to give it a go today, and we are so glad we did! Last time, we waited 20 minutes to even be greeted, this time we were greeted immediately by our server, Tori, and she continued to give us exceptional service through our entire dinner! She was so great that I made a point to let the lady who cashed us out know, good service really changes the entire outcome of a dinner. My wife had the roast beef and I had the trout, both dishes were served hot and tasted amazing! We were so pleased and will definitely be returning from now on!
