Apparently, cooks aren't required to follow menu recipes. Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken is a favorite. The cook decided it needed cheese to cover up the Maple flavor. ONE Pic is what CB advertise and the Other is what I got. The cook, expediter, and waitress all looked at it and let this go to the dining room. Of course, not doing their job or not caring are possibilities. Save your corporate apology. I don't believe you really care. I'm sure I'm not alone. The cashier offer to get the manager. I declined since I don't believe it wouldn't get to the cooks responsible so I was not going to waste any more time and ask her to pass on my concern for me. She seemed sincere in her promise to follow through. The cooks are the ones that need to apologize.

My mom and I stopped here for breakfast on a Thursday morning around 10am. There was no wait and the service was excellent. Our food was served hot and was delicious. I was not happy with the portion size of my Chicken and French Toast entree. I had had this same dish other times from this location and the French Toast slices were much larger. Maybe it was due to the particular cook working this visit.

We've been coming to this location for nearly 7 years and tonight's dinner is by far the worst we've ever had. Took almost 30 mins before someone to finally acknowledge us (Thanks to the lady that sat across our table approached one of the managers ,she noticed my frustration since the server just kept ignoring us). One of the stuff finally came and took our order. Waited another 20 mins before our food came. When our food finally came, it looks like someone just plated some leftovers all over the plate. Felt very unwelcome, we waited patienly since my son was tired from long day at camp and it was a long day at work for me, and i just didnt feel llike going to another place since its been raining . Customer service needs a whole lot more of training (including the service managers). Not a single smile from any of the stuff except for the sweet lady at the register and the shop manager. For a restaurant that a lot of families gather together, they have to do better with their services. Its not a great family friendly atmosphere at all.

Hostess refused to seat me, a party of one, at an empty table because it wasn't that waitresses "turn". I wonder how many customers they lose because of that. However, I got the veggie plate: mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet carrots, greens, and pinto beans with onions. Millie was a real sweetheart of a waitress! Most of the time when I go to cracker barrel it's hit or miss. This particular restaurant, and I'm not sure where I am in my travels today, is a HIT! I recommend that it should be the poster boy for great food and great service!!!

We generally have a wonderful visit but not today. Most unsafe and uncomfortable visit ever! Stopped here this morning for breakfast. Placed in a high traffic squeeze open area. Best part of our visit was our server who was nice. We were constantly interrupted by staff coming thru in this tight uncomfortable unsafe area. Staff carried food and even lifted food above my husbands head. OMG! Now the person who seated us even bought more guest thru that “squeeze” to seat them on the other side of us. They could have been more easily seated going straight down to that location. As you can see from the picture staff continue to come thru this small section between the table with the big group at window and us. The group was there when we were seated. All other seating around us was open. We spoke with a manager upon leaving. Now this manager was checking in on other customers and my husband called her to ours. We shared the sitting and safety concerns and her response was of no concern…she mentioned design, seating, biggest store, will talk with staff. That table should not be there. Safety is key. Staff should know better than to squeeze thru there especially with so many other routes available. Management could have shown more concern and compassion. Menu quantity has also changed except for the pancakes.

Very well stocked gift shop at this location, super friendly staff, food was hot and delicious as always. Doesn’t seem like they’ve raised their prices since the pandemic started? Will be coming back!

Our waitress was terrific!! Went at about 0830 on a Wednesday, and didn't have to wait at all for a seat. French toast was even better than I remembered. My wife loved her egg sandwich, too.

Well, the rating doesn't always reflect everything. We arrived just before 5p on a Sunday. They didn't have any tea made (or just out), silverware was not ready (they had to wrap it, which means put it in a bag), and it was just plain dim in there. It made it hard to see the menu at 5p. The waitress was new and very quiet. Since my parents are in their 80's and a little hard of hearing (according to them), they couldn't hear a word she said. They were flustered and not the most polite. She took care of every request and smiled the entire time. She did a very good job. Food was good as usual. I also have no idea if they were still recovering from the Sunday morning/afternoon church crowd. Hope that shows that I still think the restaurant did a good job and earned a 4.
