Wow. The chicken fried chicken was mouth watering and the country gravy was so creamy and smooth... Amazing food and some of the best service we have ever had. I cannot remember the waiters name (long haired younger guy), the dude was chill, attentive, and very pleasant. We look forward to going back to try more delicious food and hopefully we'll get the same waiter.
Haven't been to one in over 20 years after not caring for the food I thought I I try it again. Went with my aunt to the one in Evansville Indiana and was awesome. Then I took my wife to our local one on Madisonville KY and was very disappointed again. First our waitress was slow and unfriendly (wasn't busy) . Got the special turkey and stuffing. Turkey was overcook and dry , stuffing wasn't all cook like they ran low and added more to the pot. Saw the manager she apologized and replace our stuffing , but this stuffing was like mush from the bottom of the pot with some hard pieces of celery. You think after we wouldn't eat that she gift us a meal or make it right, only she took of 2.00 for the stuffing. We will never go back.
I had a doctor's opp that morning... and was hungry afterward, so i passed rught by Denny's and found myself here . Now, when I order eggs, I like them over easy but hardly EVER get them that way . This morning was completely different ! The food was great, as were my over easy eggs! Everything was just what I wanted, from being seated quickly to the wonderful smiles of my servers... and the breakfast could not have been better ! I will be back for breakfast again and again ! Thank you so much !!!
This was an impromptu family reunion. I haven’t seen this side of my family in 40 years. The server was great. The food was exactly what I expected. The server took photos that were forty years in the making. It was a big deal to me and my daughter. Besides that I have eaten Cracker Barrel in 12 different states. Always the same great food
Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Coffee was hot and strong; just what I needed before a road trip back home. Shout out to Sheena for her great service.
I ordered the Biscuits Benny, (eggs Benedict on a biscuit ) then was informed they were out of biscuits, so I asked them to put it on toast. They threw it all on the plate,toast on top, there were shells in my eggs and they did not even put sauce on it... Had to ask three times for apple butter just so I could eat some part of my meal.
I ordered green beans and another ordered fries. I got the fries and the other got the green beans. We had to ask 3x for items. I asked twice for a refill on unsweetened tea. I asked a 3rd time and was offered one to go. It was sweet tea. Overall service not so good and our server just didn't listen or pay attention
The server was so nice, she kept apologizing for taking so long to serve us, but considering they were short handed she did excellent. The cornbread muffins were too hard, but the biscuits were great as always. the hamburger steak was tough.
