When we got there, the host sat us at a dirty table. It took 10 min before the waitress came. When our food was brought out, the portions on my plate looked like they were for a toddler. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, with a side of grits and bacon. His bacon was small and thin, the grits looked like clumps of clay, and the biscuits and gravy tasted flavorless. He sent is back and got pancakes instead and a new batch of grits. The waitress came over once to refill my husband's coffee, didn't refill my drink, and we didn't see her again until it was time to get the check.
The food looked too bland and uninteresting. This is probably my opinion but except for the sirloin steak I ordered, everything was quite average Cornbread was too salty. Baked beans looks like it was poured out of a can. Steamed broccoli was just microwaved. Probably won’t come here again
Food was a little warm and didn’t receive a couple items. But other than that everything was delicious and delivered promptly. Server was tatty and was very sweet and accommodating!
I arrived on Sunday expecting to wait; I was advised of an estimated wait time of 60 minutes but was seated after 35 minutes. I experienced that Dawn, our server, was impressive but appeared overworked due to her having many tables to serve, but she handled it well. I like how she started, “it is an honor to serve you.” She was excellent and informative! The food was tasty, and I enjoyed my experience at Cracker Barrel; I know you might have to wait, and the restaurant is crowded and loud, but you experience fantastic service, and tasty. Also, make sure you ask for “free biscuits!”
Good food. Always a long line on Saturday and Sunday mornings as expected. Worth the wait if your tired of waffle house. Plenty of fully stocked gifts to purchase. Definitely worth stopping in. Pancakes highly recommended. Clean restrooms.
Visited recently with my family. The place has barely any customers yet took 65 minutes for our food to come out. (2 orders of pancakes and fried chicken) Just as we got to the point of getting up to leave, our food finally arrived. Unfortunately the blueberry pancakes were very burnt, the sausage and eggs were both quite undercooked. We allowed the kitchen to remake and it still came out incorrect (eggs were missing cheese). We spoke to a manager and she offered to take 50% off the check which was gracious of her. While we appreciate she did what she could to make it right, I doubt we will return any time soon to this Cracker Barrel.
The waitress or waiter was extremely rude and unprofessional. The person rushed us thru our ordering and also call me a sir and it was blatantly obvious that the person was being disrespectful. No offense to others but nothing about me looks or sounds like a man. The customer next to my husband and I even said that was extremely disrespectful. I called to report this unprofessional behavior and the “manager” just laughed like it was a joke. Needless to say we walked out after . Not to mention the waitress did not look clean or sanitary she had built up glue in her fake eyelashes Extremely long dirty nails
Any time I go to Cracker Barrel, I always have to buy some of their merchandise. They have the most beautiful, unique things that I have never seen anywhere else. And their food, so delicious . Love this pkace..
