The wait was not ridiculous on a Sunday like we were afraid of. The staff was very Friendly, attentive and efficient. Our Server greeted us with a big genuine smile and angelic personality. I so wish I could remember her name. She complimented me at a time when it was greatly needed. Words can’t express how I appreciated her genuineness. Now to the food! It was great. I love all of the new things on the menu since I’d been there. This Cracker Barrel lived up to their reputation for great home cooked food.

My husband and I ordered the chicken tender dinner. I ordered a salad also. Ended up having to ask for my salad. She had forgotten. Normally they bring biscuits or corn bread to the table while your waiting had to ask for them, Then when the waitress brought our food to us she said fries would come shortly, we waited and waited, saw other tables foods being brought out with their fries, ours never came. Biscuits were raw and looked like they had been saved from precious tables, one looked like it had been eaten off of. Salad had bacon bits but were a grease ball and ice cold. The mac n cheese was like water with black stuff in it. The chicken tenders were dripping with grease and were so rubbery you couldn't even pull them apart much less chew them. Tasted like they were fried in old oil. Waited to speak to waitress about issues she never came back to table. Spoke to manager she said she would take care of it. So when the waitress did come back to our table she said we only had to pay for half the meal. I stated we didn't even get a meal. She's said oh, you didn't get your fries, would you like me to put them in a to go box!!! I said no I don't want to take home cold fries and I'm not paying for any of this so called meal. Got up and left. The food has always been pretty good but the service and quality or care has gone to pot. Also the restaurant was not very busy at all. I guess that should have been a warning as usually at this time they are packed.. Will definitely be a long time before we return. Hopefully by then the food quality will equal the prices you pay. Bad food, bad service equals no customers.

Was there for three hours total...mostly spent waiting for table, service, and food. The order brought out was partially wrong, and we were charged for all of wrong items. The waitress was friendly and calm, despite the chaos and dirty, uncleared tables all around us. The major problem was the bill. We ordered off the lunch menu, but were charged dinner prices. Also, due to confusing layout of the menu, we were charged extra for every single side. They were not listed on same page as lunch items, so we thought sides on lunch page were the ones to pick from. Turns out not, but instead of just refunding us $3.19 for confusion, they turned it into a big ordeal... calling over managers and creating massive line at store register. Ultimately, Manager refunded us $5. Should have done that from the start to avoid all of the drama in crowded store..AND.. don't ever believe their "25 minute" wait time. More like 45 minutes...and tack on another 30 for a server to even come to your table. Chicken was rubbery, like eating a Magic Rub eraser. Loaded Sweet Potato was good though.

After frequenting this chain for over 20 years I’m done. This particular one is always bad. Tonight my entree was cold. This was a take out order. It was not cold from driving home. It was cold like out of the fridge cold. Not sure if not defrosted or what. Disappointed and not going back

THIS PLACE WAS ICE COLD!!! The Restaurant was not busy when we arrived around 5:30 p.m so we were sat Immediately. First the Restaurant was trashed. Tables sitting dirty all over the dining room. When we sat we noticed others with menu's looking around as if trying to figure out if they even had a server. After we were sat we waited near 14 minutes for our server to acknowledge us she finally strolled over. We were not happy but having been on the road 11 hours we were hungry so we endured this.... We ordered simple little vegetable plates so we wouldn't over indulge and be miserable the final two hours f road time (before we reached our hotel). A few things went wrong with our orders the upmost of which were the pinto beans. Pinto beans are not meant to be served an off white color and dried up with no juice. They Were Totally Disgusting.... I can honestly say out of the multiple dozens of Cracker Barrel stops and meals we've had this stop ranks highly as one of the most disappointing ones we've been in.

We stopped in to use the restroom since it was early in the morning! I decided to browse and ended up buying a lot from the gift shop. Super clean and friendly but super disappointed they don’t offer military discounts. Advertising as a homey American place to eat I would think they would recognize our military members. I’ve eaten here and the service and food is great. Just disappointed they don’t offer something for our military members.

Hair in food! We were there 9/6 approximately around 7 pm. We had a really sweet waitress, and they were busy so we understood wait on the food. We received our food and as I was eating I discovered a long hair in my food!!! Disgusting! Asked for manager and told him what happened. He didn't seemed concerned and said he would take care of it. Never apologized and made husband pay for his meal too. Won't be going back!!

I see on indeed that they are always hiring. I have applied for server twice and had one interview. My interview was very short. There was another girl at a table across from me being interviewed as well. I could overhear their entire conversation and the person being interviewed already had a full-time and was wanting the night shifts at Cracker Barrel. I was then interviewed and it was a totally different tone of conversation. I have been doordashing since Jan 2023 and I am desperately looking for a better job. I have YEARS of restaurant and management experience. I was told “I see you haven’t had a restaurant job long?”. Yes I have. For years at different places. It’s in my resume. Then she just cut it short and said “well you know what? We’re not really hiring right now. It’s our slow season. Maybe you should just apply back when it’s the holidays.” Totally unprofessional and a sad excuse for an interview. Also my interview was two weeks ago and y’all are still hiring. So the problem isn’t that y’all don’t have good enough candidates applying but that your management team needs to be renewed and taught that favoritism is against the law. I will not ever apply here again, nor will I ever eat here..
