We ordered Doordash and I would not recommend in the future to order from Cracker Barrel. It seemed like the cooks putting together this to go order could care less. Portion was questionable and the peach cobbler was just peaches in syrup. The cobbler was missing. Disappointed.
Came in around 1030 Saturday and was quoted a 30 minute wait. That was fine. Sat down around 11 and yet we didn’t leave until 1230. Server Taylor was attentive, took our order quickly and provided us with refills without asking (even went and got us silverware and lunch menus that the hostess didn’t provide). Taylor then spent the next hour and a half having to apologize for the delay and trying her best to keep us happy. You would think after an hour of waiting for 4 entrees and a kids meal, a manager would have come and spoken to us or offered to compensate us for the wait. Nothing. Just Taylor. Luckily food was decent (minus the fact the cheese curds were burnt, and that the food did not come out at the same time…or with everything). Taylor deserves a raise and the manager this morning/afternoon should be ashamed.
Visited the CB in Athens, AL. They are always excellent! Our hostess and waitress were very kind and attentive. Coffee was hot, tasty, and abundant. I love their chicken & dumplings, but this time I opted for breakfast. I tried the impossible sausage (plant based) and it was really good! Highly recommend trying it out. I will say the CB in Huntsville, AL is absolutely awful. They used to be great, but for the past year or so they've been horribly slow with awful service and cold food (if it's even the right food). Maybe they have new management or something? Anyway, if you're visiting Huntsville area just do yourself a favor and drive out to the Athens CB. Worth it!
Food as always was great. Service was good. Food got low score bc it took an extremely long time for our food. Server kept us happy while we waited, however, and the boys competed with peg board game.
This restaurant had a short waiting list but as always good down home recipes to chose from for breakfast lunch and dinner and now serving some alcoholic beverages. It had great ingress and egress to parking lot with numerous Curbside pickup, ADA Spaces and RV & BUS Parking areas. Will definitely recommend this establishment and will return gladly in the future.
My wife and I stopped here for breakfast. It was very clean, the people friendly, and our food was delicious. The waitress was very nice, prompt and accommodating. It was very cold in the restaurant as they had the ceiling fans on. My wife told her how cold she was and our waitress figured out how to turn them off and did. Great place to eat.
Cracker Barrel has always been delicious, but they’ve stepped up their game. delicious cheesecake pancakes with a Bloody Mary and a Peach Mamosa. Perfection! The servers here are always really sweet, as well.
Best choice we could have made that night.. the food was absolutely delicious but we had the best waiter!!! It was only his 4th day and wouldn't have known if he hadn't told us. He and the cashier both were very kind and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect at our table and helped answer questions we had in the store part!!
