This is a great find! The staff inside was super helpful and friendly. If you need anything meat related, they have it! Wine, seasonings, and meat. They also have prepared foods. So, if you need something for a dinner party or event they have it. They also cater. This is a place we will have to revisit when we are back in San Antonio. Oh, the staff know their meats. They have whatever you need. Highly recommend.

I get good service and great prepared food, great steaks and hot sauce. Jay, from behind the counter, always greets me with a smile. I am far from their best customer, but that’s how they make me feel.

Went here for the first time yesterday when I was looking for some baby back ribs to put on my grill. Thankfully they had them but like anywhere else they were a bit on the pricy side. After doing my dry rub, grilling them over charcoal, and basting them with BBQ sauce, they turned out great! Before anyone else complains about prices I would like to point out from a business angle that transportation costs are on the rise and anything that needs to be transported from a farm or a factory to where it is being sold will be going up due to a high demand for those products and transportation services as well as a short supply of available trucks and drivers. I have worked as a truck driver for almost 30 years and we are very busy for that reason.

I ordered 7 filets but they just threw in a big chunk of tenderloin in the bag. Then what was the point giving a 20% tip then on top of that I get charged a service fee? Filet means a steak cut from the tenderloin. This isn’t the first time that this place has messed up my orders. You all will be better off going to Central Market. They have good quality meat there.

Definitely agree with these bad reviews they freeze there t bones and bacon wraps never heard of that horrible service very rude and meat was low quality go to choice cuts they are way better and you get more for you buck

I ordered a cake a week in advance for a birthday party. When i picked it up today, the rude, grumpy clerk slapped the box on the counter…the cake box was torn in shreds and covered in dirt! I mean, like from the yard. The cake had ice all over it and he said “it’s fine, it’s just a little freezer burn”. I eventually ended up with a cake that had a clean box, but it still had freezer burn.

I am new to the area and was delighted to find Cooper's nearby. I have tried a few different items from Cooper's and some have been good but not great and definitely not worth the cost. The quail was stuffed with spinach instead of grits and had no flavor. The "cherry tomato delights" were not cherry tomatoes, they used grape tomatoes and stuffed them with what tasted like cream cheese only. They were NOT worth $1 per tomato. The mini beef wellington had a nice flakey crust but again NO flavor. I made a horseradish cream sauce to dip them in, which helped. Again, at almost $4 per bite, the idea of the dipping sauce should have been theirs and included. The twice baked potatoes were good.

I cannot recommend this establishment. Why: 1) They did not have my order that I had placed online and received confirmation of days prior. 2) There was no organization regarding picking up orders. I realize it was Christmas Eve but I waited in line for over an hour only to find out they didn't have the items I ordered. 3) While in line no staff tried to be helpful or courteous. What a missed PR opportunity as for the long line they could have offered samples. 4) Not enough staff to attend customers. One register and three counter employees who didn't seem to know what they were doing. 5) Worst part over priced and the quality no worth this horrible experience. 6) I called and left a voice mail message on Christmas Eve in the afternoon to voice my dissatisfaction but to date no call back.
