So for 22$ I got and omelette home fries and sausage. Sausage and toast are extra. Coffee was bitter, warm not hot. Home fries and sausages were burnt and Luke warm. Spanish omelette ok. Owner / manager loud yelling and laughing. Staff eating and arguing. It’s called Compton’s for a reasons. I wouldn’t wear any colors on there… never going back.

Good food love coming here usually. Our waiter was absolutely amazing let me start with that I wish I had caught his name honestly. He was so amazing. We had an issue with the chocolate milk. Let me preface this by saying I can only drink low fat milks due to dairy intolerance so I only order it from places I KNOW are safe. Our chocolate milks today tasted fermented I actually felt they tasted like beer. Our waiter took them back for us & changed them out to hot chocolate. When we got the bill we noticed the chocolate milks & asked them to be changed to hot chocolate since that’s cheaper & that’s what we actually drank. The lady at the counter was so rude not only to me to my face but also to the waiter. She & another younger lady berated the waiter for admitting to us that when he checked the expiration date of the first glasses that they had expired the day before. He was so kind to us I would’ve honestly been leaving an all around 5 star review for the whole situation but the way this lady was screaming at us & the waiter across the place was disgusting my boyfriend even went back in to tell them that they should be kinder to their employees after they berated him saying bad reviews but honestly had they shut their traps & been nicer to not only their employee but to me this review would’ve been nicer.

Loved it. Food was good and decently priced. The steak was overdone but that can be overlooked. The service was the best. Our server was so nice and she kept checking on us. We got a lot of dishes and the bill was reasonable. I happily tipped well and thought it was well deserved. The atmosphere was nice and the tables are blocked off to ensure social distancing. The ambiance was accented with the fireplace and it was just a nice place to have breakfast before our ski trip. Service was quick too. Definitely would go again if I'm in the area.

Good diner if you're looking for a quick, home-style cooked meal! The garden stuffed omelette and home fries tasted great but I thought the pancakes were just OK. I was pleasantly surprised by the house hot sauce!

My experience at this place was overall bad starting with unhygienic utensils being given out smelling like rotten eggs and even being served a hot drink with my ceramic cup smelling like rotten eggs as well. This establishment should practice hygienic procedures on washing utensils because it was very off-putting to me to smell that before eating. Also pancakes were ridiculously small for the price, actually for the same price I can get a pancake three times the size with more taste for that. By the was rushing customers close to closing time is uncalled for and should just be closed if you wanted to rush

This place is NOT wheelchair friendly. There is one entrance/exit for wheelchairs and they keep it locked. Although they unlocked it for us, people kept parking RIGHT in front of the door. God forbid there's an emergency, I wouldn't be able to get a wheelchair back out! Seems like a code violation. Thankfully, our waitress, Amy (btw, very nice and excellent server), got the owner's of the vehicle to move. However, another person came and parked right in front of the door too! I couldn't enjoy my breakfast because I was constantly manning the door. I tried to get another waitress (NOT Amy) to help us by kindly asking if they had a garbage can or something they could put outside the door to prevent customers from parking us in. She refused and got very condescending and loud. She embarrassed us in front of other customers, just like she did to another employee when she yelled at him in front of everyone. She made us feel like terrible people for asking. She said she would get the manager for us, but the manager never came out. Instead ,she proceeded to talk about me to her customers. It was a horrible experience, not an enjoyable breakfast at all! I would only try this place again if that lady was no longer working there and they also fixed the parking issue.

I loved this place! We were here during our visit to Pennsylvania (first time here) from TEXAS! The blue-eyed lady at the front was nice too. Can’t wait to visit again. Yum!

Arrived as a family of five. We were seated within seconds. Both food and drinks arrived freakishly fast immediately after ordered. The food was delicious and the serving size was more than enough. When we’re in the area we will absolutely be stopping by Compton’s Pancake House again.
