I want to thank sierra and her coworker for doing an outstanding job today with customer service. When I arrived she took my gf order nicely and advised me her coworker was getting milk for the store so she couldn’t make my shake but I just waited 5 minutes came back in the store and she remembered my order and said she will get it for me right now. The fact she remembered my face and order that’s what I give a A+ service.
I have been to Coldstone several times in the past few years, but let me start off by saying I do not enjoy ice cream as a rule. Hard serve or soft serve, I'm a couple of bites type of person and then I'm done; however, my husband and my children love Coldstone. Not just the ice cream itself, but, the toppings as well. Coldstone has toppings that most people wouldn't think of putting in their ice cream. Such as, gummy bears (my youngest's favorite addition) combined with oreos. In short, if you can imagine the most twisted ice cream and additions combinations, I'm certain they'd make it for you. Service is hit or miss,the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 (since my family swears by the ice cream itself). You can be in an out in 10 minutes or standing around for 30 because the person assisting you is not very efficient.
LITERALLY my only issue with this location was all the fruit flies flying in the case and on top of ALL THE OPEN TOPPINGS! I literally just threw my ice cream out. It just seems as if this location is just run down the front ice cream case seems to not be working, so they have to get the ice cream from the back. I would of took a picture but I honestly don’t think anyone wants to see that!
The first picture is a cake I’ve gotten from this location before. The second picture is what I received for a friends birthday cake. The last is what I did to make it look presentable. Contacted coldstone about it. Manager told me she thought the cake looked fine and told me how she said happy birthday Meghanne wouldn’t fit. Just for reference, Birthday and Meghanne have the same amount of letters. You can be the judge on this one.
I have tried to go at 7:15 6 times in the last 3 weeks and they keep closing early. If you’re not going to stay open for the whole time you’re listed as open change your hours so people stop wasting their time. I was one of 4 cars that pulled up and were turned away. After dinner time is the most popular time to get ice cream so why are you closing. Also when I called to ask if they were open the worker was incredibly sassy and rude.
Although Zoe was alone and there seemed to be a momentary rush she was extremely confident and very pleasant. I decided to try a smoothie strawberry banana which I had gotten other places that have since moved or gone out of business. I was not disappointed. Seriously, it is delicious. Add 280 cal it’s also within my dietary limits. Nice. I really wish their hours were better but with Covid everything has been affected.
So you guys ran out of ice like 3 months ago and decided to just never get more lol. Literally everytime I try to get a smoothie you guys "are out of ice". Okey doke.
I arrived here tonight at 6:54 p.m. Drove ALL the way from Ashby, because I checked my Google maps and it said they were open until 8:00 p.m. There are 4 people inside, door was open, but a sign on the door said they were "CLOSED". I went inside and asked if they were open, and two of them said, "No, we're closed. So sorry." I said, "What time did you close at?" And they both said, "6:30". So I left. Disappointed. Now, listen, if you are going to close early - fine - but CHANGE YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS and your GOOGLE MAP footprint to reflect that change. DO NOT leave everything saying that you're open. That's just silly and, frankly, in this day and age of wide technology useage, it's lazy. Change your electronic footprint to be accurate. I was really looking forward to some Coldstone tonight. Not happy.
