I did a pick up order and in the email confirmation it says “Go Straight to Order Pickup At the Counter & Tell a Crew Member You Ordered Online.” I waited at the front and nobody acknowledged me. They then cashed somebody out and tried walking away without acknowledging me. I had to tell them that I had an order for pick up that was already paid for. When I opened the bag they put two of my waffle cones at the bottom of the bag… They were obviously broken. Worst cold stone I’ve ever been to.
I really love you guy's ice cream. Don't get me wrong on that. The main problem is the worker's attitudes. When I came in today to order me a 48oz cheesecake ice cream with strawberries in it, one of the female workers acted like she did not want to serve me as if I was going to eat her up. When I also noticed that my 48oz cup was not entirely filled up and requested more cheesecake to be added in to make sure the big cup was 100% full, the worker tells me that the remaining ice cream that was on the table that they use to mix toppings on was gonna make it "Fill up". I was not please with my service. Afterwards when paying my bill, my bag with the ice cream inside it was not handed directly in my hand but instead just laid it in front of the cashier and walked away, didn't even bother to ask if I had a rewards phone number. I will not tolerate this type of attitude if I never once been rude to any of those workers.
Let me start by saying I love cold stone and generally go here for birthday cakes for family and friends. I've been going to this location on Allen Park since it's been open. Every time I go to this location I leave mad. This past Saturday I walk in go to the cooler grab a cake. I go to the register in the only one standing there. I see a couple people in line getting scoops of ice cream. I notice one worker helping the line and 3 to 4 others basically just chilling and talking. No one ever acknowledges me . So as I'm waiting I grab some candles. Finally a girl comes to the register and says nothing but starts ringing things up. So I look at the cashier confused, she then proceeds with a total that's not mine but actually soneonr finishing up their ice cream order in line. So I proceed to say ice been standing here for 10 minutes. Her response was so. She rings up the customer and we wait for them to come to the register. The customer congress to the register and ask why I wasn't rung up first since I had been waiting and the cashier ignores the question. This place is horrible and I don't know why they would hire staff with no customer service skills. I'm definitely not returning to this location again. There is a cold stone in Warren which is a nice little hike from where I live, but the staff is amazing they offer to wrote happy Birthday on the cake for you. The staff is amazing and very personable. It's worth the drive. Honestly the Allen Park location should consider a field trip to eastern so they can learn how to do their jobs correctly. But as for the location on the hill don't waste your time or money. If you really want cold stone take a little road trip to Warren cold stone. You'll thank me later
We're visitng from up north and don't have Cold Stones up there so when we're near we always stop- this was one of the only good experiences we had on our stay- the service was great despite the long line and the ice cream was perfect. Thanks for being the best service we got down here, seems to be rare.
Don't order anything from the girl named Taylor with glasses. She cuts all the portions in half. Forgets half of the stuff even after you tell her two or three times. She is so slow it took 20 minutes to make 3 ice cream. Then forget to make it right after being told 3 times how to. Then got mad because I said forget it.I just will pay for the 2 we had and forget the 3 one .
Horrible service! She Served the incorrect flavor for founders favorite, served a child scoop to the rim of the cone? It was not a scoop. When i informed her about the incorrect flavor she shook her head and ignored and glanced on the floor. She continued to bang the counter with her scooper out of frustration. What was really funny is that she said the total amount and suggested a tip despite lack of communication. It would be a service to properly train her, although I doubt she’ll be their much longer she should be fired.
I have been going to coldstones for well over 15 years and sad to say I do not give them anymore recommendations. In April I ordered 5 ice creams from them online and only 3 was delivered. One was still wrong. I contacted the store and they wanted to give me a credit even for the ones that I did not receive. I declined it and it was told to contact doordash. Once I contacted your dash they told me that it was the store that would refund it and they contacted the store and was telling and I was told that they were going to give me a full refund and never got it. I called doordash back a few days later probably about a week later and was told that they will call them again contact them couldn't get nobody at the store and contacted the complaint line and was told to that a form was completed and I received the email stating that I will receive a email confirmation of the complaint for the refund. I received the email but still hadn't received a refund. We are now into May and I have contacted them myself three times could not get a supervisor and still have not had anyone return a call to me. I have reported them to the BBB and they still haven't heard anything. This was $40 worth of ice cream for my kids and they are refusing or ignoring me and not wanting to get me my refund. I would never utilize them again. And I just want my refund.
I was in the door before 9 p.m. they waited till I got up to the counter to say they're not taking any more orders and they did not have the door locked that is not right it's extremely bad so they're turning away from money that's really messed up they don't have to worry about it I won't come back and I will blast them online on Instagram and Facebook because that's horrible
