Came here with a large group of girls and we were able to get a reservation on a Friday night quite easily. Great cocktail, wine, spirits list. Dinner menu had several amazing sounding options. I went with the scallops while my friend got the meatloaf. The short ribs looked amazing and the onion burger also looked good. Only 3 scallops on my meal which was a little light for the $40 price. Served over grits it was quite tasty but not a ton of food. A good choice if you want the lighter meal. Everyone was raving over the house chopped salad. I had a bite without the salmon and it was very flavorful. The meatloaf dinner looked and tasted more like Salisbury steak. Very filling if you are hungry. Dessert was bananas foster bread pudding and it was divine. It was a special so if it’s an option, get it. It tastes like warm banana bread with a scoop of ice cream. Huge portion enough for sharing! Service was great, atmosphere was awesome. Just thought it was a bit pricery for the lack of food.

Very much enjoyed our meal and our server was excellent. Rob eye was cooked perfectly (medium rare) and the sauce fantastic. My son loved his filet. Only disappointment (only because it was average versus amazing like rest of meal) was the bread pudding. A must stop if you're in Scottsdale.

Great food. Chopped salad was light and tasty. Good portion as well. Had a filet based appetizer as well. I’d come back for sure. Drinks were also super good. All around a great restaurant.

This gem in Old Town Scottsdale is one of those places that needs to be on your list, whether you're from out of town or you live in the area. The overall experience is everything and that's unique to find. Sitting at the bar is fun to just go in for Happy Hour or even to dine, but sitting in the main dining with bigger groups is so fun! I've always been so impressed with the apps, main courses and deserts and my drinks are always delicious as well! My favorites are The Chop Salad and the Scallops and don't skip on the fresh warm cookies with vanilla ice cream at the end! Let's talk about service: big shout out to one of the managers, Sammy. He is so genuine and caring and made sure to take care of us at a recent birthday dinner for a friend. Our server, Torrey was insane (please request her)! She is fun but professional and knows her stuff, providing all of her recommendations and helping you navigate the menu. She's always coming back to make sure drinks are filled and smiles are on your face. You can tell she truly cares about people and loves what she does and she just has a warmth about her. You will not be disappointed in this place so please make your reservation and go now!

Great food and great service. We had the Rib Eye Stake and the Halibut. Both meals were excellent. The sauce under the Halibut was exceptionall. I'd suggest Citizen Public House is certainly worth a try.

Great service and food was delicious. Chopped salad is really interesting and combines a few different tastes into one salad. Highly recommend. Meatballs was a nice surprise! Slightly tangy spicy but yummy! Mains- we ordered the scallops and the chicken. Especially loved the scallops!

We ate like kings! Great experience, fantastic service and most of all really tasty meals, lucky we also got to take advantage of the restaurant week menu!

We started at Citizen Public House for happy hour a little before our dinner reservation and we were glad we did. They have a good selection of drink specials and bites to eat, actually at happy hour deals. Our entrees were excellent. The flavors in both the grouper and scallops dishes were wonderful; we both had clean plates at the end of the meal. The staff was also very welcoming.
