I’m so sad with how China Garden has been lately, as a regular. I noticed over the past few months that they’ve started to skimp on food. Which, I understood due to inflation- would’ve preferred if they started to charge a few extra bucks instead, but whatever. So, I started to stop going weekly, and went last night after a few months. I was a little surprised at how many shrimp there were this time, but they were all pure white (usually they’re bright pink) they smelt fine, but tasted VERY off. Now this morning I definitely have food poisoning as I can’t even keep water down without getting sick. I understand things happen, but it’s just carelessness at this point. Please get back into how you were before. You were the best Chinese food in town, and I live several towns over. Meaning I drive 40 minutes specifically for your food, passing several Chinese places including the others in town. I used to order $30-40 every week, and was happy to do so, now it’s going to go elsewhere. I hope eventually you go back to your old cooking habits.

I've been going to China Garden for years and it's been years since I've been there again until today!!! For this area it's nice to have somewhere you can order from years later and it still holds up. ALTHOUGH I have always gotten the same thing every time. BBQ spare ribs with Sweet and sour Chicken. (Mainly because I don't like to deep fry at my place and BBQ spare ribs always have such a unique taste.) The rice and sweet and sour sauce basically, EVERYTHING gives off that EXPECTED TASTE you would want to go with. COMPARED to a 5 STAR restaurant...NO. But, it tasted as I expected it to. That's why China Garden gets a 5 STAR from me. ( Well today there was more small pieces of chicken then large and the Spare ribs could have been a bit hotter with more sauce but, how Picky can one get tho!!! The chicken was right On.) The Lady was so nice through phone and in person. The packaging as you can see was well, secured with even a cardboard slip at the BOTTOM!!! AWH!!! As for their other food that's up for you to decide. I try to be simple when it comes to eating out so if your expecting a 5 STAR meal...go-to a 5 STAR restaurant. Thank you!!! :)

Atmosphere is irrelevant, it's take-out only. Lunch specials are a good deal, for around $8 you get an entree, white or fried rice, and soup or a can of soda. Food is great. My favorite is the L18 General Tso's chicken lunch special.

This place is hands down my favorite place to eat in town by far! They are always fast and the food is always always good. We order from them pretty often over the last 5 years, and they have always been on point every single time. I highly recommend coming here for sure.

I've been customer for years ordering always similar dishes. Used to be 5 star food, till my last purchase few days ago. Is their excellent chef not there anymore???? I live in Staten Island, NY, park my truck in Great Meadows,NJ, some 5 miles west from Hackettstown,NJ and have second house in Arizona. Clear??? By the way, few years ago I reported to you, one of my previous orders was terrible. Your reaction - nothing, even simple sorry. I took few months break , then I returned to you. Now I'm gone for good. My advice, instead to fight every negative comment, take some courtesy lessons and change your attitude toward customers.

Placed an order over an hour ago and still waiting for my food. If you are looking for an order to e ready at a reasonable time don't ever order from here. Beyond ridiculous!

No, No, No! Never again. Ordered delivery and they told me 45 min. Then at the end of the order she told me an hour so I asked to cancel the order. She told me they would do "speedy delivery" and it would arrive 1/2 hour to 45 min. After an hour I called and she said she would find out where the delivery man was. He ended up coming an hour and 20 min. after the order. So, they lie! Anything to keep the order. When I called to complain they would not pick up they phone, probably saw our number. Chicken and cashew was awful, ribs were pretty bad too. General Tao chicken was actually good as was the dumplings. Vegetables were cold, wet and tasteless. Never go there or order again.
