The atmosphere is amazing, I love the decor in the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly. Our table was dirty but someone came over and quickly cleaned it. I had steak, crab cake and mixed veggies. I was underwhelmed by the steak and veggies. The food was not very flavorful but the presentation was beautiful. I would come back and try the breakfast. I do wish they had more options on the salad bar. More veggies would be great.
First time visit. Everything was clean with a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed with the basics and had a cheeseburger. It came out hot, juicy and flavorful. Salad bar had the basics and was good but did not have anything that would have me excited to try again.
Wow! First time here and completely unplanned as our initial place was closed. Totally glad we came here. Pretty standard diner/breakfast selection so I was not expecting to be impressed. Our waitress was very attentive and prompt. Our food came out quickly and the portions were bigger than expected. The taste, oh man the taste. Everyone LOVED their meals. Plates were cleaned except a few potatoes. The sausage gravy was hearty but still somehow airy. The bacon on the sandwiches was cooked to perfection. The biscuits were perfect, not crumbly or super dense - just right. The French toast wasn't super thick or too thin, tasted great. The home fries were fried with just the right amount of crisp, add a little Tabasco and bam - perfect. Pro tip, add some black pepper to the sausage gravy to taste and you're set. Definitely worth the stop!
I stopped here on my way home to DC from NY. I enjoyed the salad bar very much - rarely see those and this one was well maintained. I dined on the eggplant parm dinner - tasty! The breading on the eggplant was very well done. I would stop here again but get only the salad bar. Then take something to go (;
Good fresh food, and friendly helpful staff. Wide variety on menu includes breakfast all day, including my personal favorite crab eggs benedict. It was good enjoyable and they were happy to give me extra sauce. It wasn't a super gourmet flavor but it was good...I added lemon and salt. Seating is every other table and it was a calm and quiet environment where you could have a decent conversation. Rest rooms were clean and properly equipped. Special order of spinach instead of English muffin and extra hollandaise sauce again on my eggs benedict again today in 2023 made this customer very happy! Service was very fast and the atmosphere quiet and pleasant especially before good morning Rush that seems to start around 8:30. Thank you to server Katie and the cashier for helping me stick to my timetable!
Attended a luncheon with family and loved it. The place was set up like a diner and had a private room in the back for a large group. The food was good, fresh and prices were decent. Service was pretty good as well. Overall, I'd come back if in the area again and would definitely recommend.
Heck of an experience! Went there for breakfast and the staff was great! Food was amazing and we left with to-go plates LOL . Really enjoyed myself there, a true gem in Havre De Grace!
Excellent food in a nice comfortable atmosphere. The lunch menu has something for everyone and the entree includes soup or a trip to the salad bar. The food is good and the service was great. Joan our waitress waited on us with enthusiasm. The ambiance is of the seafarers gathering place and a locals favorite.
