On our way to the Green Mountains Forest, we dropped by this place for a quick breakfast. They seemed to be quite popular among the locals, but we were able to grab a table at the old railroad car section without a wait. Our server was very friendly, and when we asked for something else besides the rye bread for our sides, she made some great accommodations for us. Among the menus we ordered, we really enjoyed the cajun skillet breakfast and the vermonter omelette. Char-grilled steak was the only thing that we found to be mediocre. Overall, it was definitely worth the few mile detour we took, and if you’re looking for a good local diner in the area, this is undoubtedly the one to go to.

I love classic diners and this place did not disappoint. The pancakes were super fluffy, the coffee was hot and delicious that they get from a local coffee shop, and the prices were very reasonable. Make sure you check their special board or ask your server for a recommendation. They were all super friendly and helpful. The best thing is that I live so close! Definitely will be back soon before they close for the season.

Awesome food! Your favorite place you haven't been to yet. Cozy Diner with a warm staff. Well portioned plates that are sourced from their backyard or local farms. The sausage in the Cajun skillet was buttery and flavorful. The corned beef hash was second to none. To top it all off the coffee was strong without being bitter. I fell in love and I'll be coming back again and again. I just wish I had found this place sooner!

Nice restaurant. We found this on our way to hogback mountain and what a nice surprise it was. Stopped in to see the inside the atmosphere felt great. Decided to stay for breakfast. The food was delicious. The wait time was short. Service fast and friendly. We were not rushed out, enjoyed our meal had some laughs. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a new place to eat in if you have not already visited here. #Smash the like button if my review has been helpful! 😁 Have a great day! ✌️👍

A gem. Home cooked farm-to-table meals with a diner feel in a brisk but casual and laidback environment. Ever single thing I've tried has been delicious. My least favourite was the turkey gravy, but everything else was so tasty I cannot pick a favourite. I definitely recommend considering the weekly specials. There is a photo on the diner wall, it was taken years ago inside the diner. A great photo that shows the history of the place, you can even see the old menu prices! A $0.60 prime rib anyone?

Delicious food. Quick service. Cash only. The sitting was outside due to social distancing. But nice benches under the tree to relax and eat near the parking lot. We had fish sandwich and fish fry. Maple walnut ice cream with whipped cream after long day of hiking in heat felt really good.

Excellent lovely cute old school diner....food super delicious and farm fresh...home made rye bread and strawberry jam was really good. Coffee really strong and yummy. Waffles was so soft and tasty....

Situated in West Brattleboro in a really cute antique rail car, I wasn't sure what to expect. Would this be a classic Jersey greasy spoon or home made restaurant? Color me surprised when it turned out to be a perfect mix of the two - all the good, none of the bad! My husband ordered the homemade corned beef eggs Benedict and I ordered the steak and eggs. The homemade corned beef was delicious and the eggs were cooked to perfection. But my steak and eggs caught me by surprise! Breakfast steak is notoriously hard to perfect - usually a thinner slice with lighter seasoning and it takes a soft hand to not over cook it. The chef nailed it. It was perfect. Medium rare, juicy, perfectly seasoned. Don't sleep on the home made biscuits either! Very yummy! Portions were perfect, the atmosphere was quaint and everything was better than expected. I'll be back!
