May 23 update : Prices only crept up a dollar or two acceptable given everyone is under pressure of inflation. That makes lunch great value. Scampi sole is very good and recommended. Side note a gentleman came in at 1:48pm and was seated despite the 2pm closing. Nice people. Plates served on the right and removed on the left. Linen tablecloth. A stroll down memory lane for me. Only thing missing is a push around dessert cart. Food is okay. Atmosphere relaxing. Lunch Menu best buy. Recommended. I can eat there every day.

I have been a patron for nearly 20 years. I had not been here in the past 2 years and since I was in the area yesterday evening I went there to have dinner. I happily greeted the owner who seated me and took my order. The place still had the same fish tank in the middle but there was a musty smell. They added a singer for entertainment. While the drink and salad (salad is part of the dinner) came out right away, I sat for an hour and still my dinner had not arrived. The place was not busy, in fact I counted only 3 tables of customers when I arrived. No one came over to apologize for the long wait or even to offer a refill. Every time I saw the owner or other servers I would think "surely this time they have my plate" only to be disappointed. This truly was not my typical experience. After an hour of waiting with no food, I told the serve to just bring my check for the drink. The owner quickly came over and placed the check on the table. Funny how she was quick to bring the check but not my food or updates about the status of my dinner. I noticed I was charged for the drink and salad. The salads was part of the dinner which I never received. You would think she would have comped my check or at least not charged me for the dinner salad for the inconvenience of me sitting for an hour with no dinner. When I spoke to the owner she talked very fast in an attempt to shut me up. It was obvious she was uncomfortable with me telling her I was surprised at the poor service after having been a customer for 20 years. I left feeling disappointed and hungry.

We were there for dinner had the dumplings for an appetizer they were really good the salad was excellent because of the dressing outstanding. My husband had steak was very melee I had the shrimp and scallops no sear at all. Creme brulee for dessert with also very good

Just left here. Amazing service and the food was fantastic. I look forward to coming back again as soon as I can!

Upscale dining. Food is great. The service is the best I've had in the high desert. Must visit. Hours are catered specifically to lunch and dinner so check hours. Nice, quiet atmosphere with pleasant piano music.

Great Atmosphere! The place looks like a hole in the wall, but when you enter it transforms into a real nice restaurant. They have well seasoned food but I would value their chicken higher than their beef. Everything had a great sear, good value for the amount of food. Be prepared to pay a bare minimum of $20 a plate, and 10-15 for appetizers.

Excellent atmosphere, food, service, etc. AAA , 5 stars 🌟 🤩
