First time at this restaurant and will be back very soon! Very tastefully and authentic mexican food. Excellent experience. See pic they speak for themselves.

Chapala is hands down one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Their ceviche is 10/10 it is very refreshing and you can’t beat the price for it having octopus, shrimp & crab meat. It is fairly priced and the flavor of this dish is worth getting every time you are in the mood for some awesome seafood. Highly recommend to check them out if you are in the area. Another must Try is their lamb, it will not disappoint! It comes with a side of fresh veggies & white rice 🔥🔥🔥 out of this world! Thank you to the owner and staff at Chapala for always being so welcoming and incredible when me & my family go there.

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been too! The atmosphere & food is always A1!! Everytime we come we usually get Jaser and he provides us the best service we have experienced at any restaurant! If you haven't tried Chapala out..do yourself a favor and get too it!

I revisited this establishment after taking a 3 yr hiatus due to service issues in the past. This time, service was good, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Cute and cheery interior. They do have outside seating, but it was very humid the day I went and opted to stay indoors. We went alityle before normal dinner hours. It seems there were only 2 servers before the peak time , so a bit slow when the restaurant started filling up. I did notice more employees by the time we finished up. The food was good, but for me, it lacked the strong cilantro flavor I like...and asked for. The desserts were very satisfying. I will come back another time soon and try a different item on the menu.

I LOVE* this chapala grill. My bf and I go for dates and they service us so well. The food is clean the drinks are IT. The owner let me know there’s a couple in NJ (haven’t tried) but I will always support this one

Excellent food in a quaint atmosphere. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. I appreciate that in dishes where in most restaurants the meat tends to be too dry, it is perfectly done here (I.e. chimichangas).

Well, this is place is so poor everything, I was there the other day with my gf at 11 am we are pretty much the only 2 PEOPLE on the restaurant, the guy “our server” looks like el chapo mustache, he toke 15 minutes for 2 glasses of water and 20 minutes for 2 sods! Yeah no a joke! And we wait 20 minutes for the app plus another 45 minutes for our entree, dude! He was more busy “cleaning “ out side with another guy than take care of us, el pendejo ignoraba a nosotros! The food was HORRIBLE!! I’m a chef and I can tell you guys! The huevos rancheros was like DOG FOOD! And my gf order flautas and the guy give us dummy hard shell tacos! Like whaaaat? And all that for $70 dls! Guest what!! I didn’t give to tio chapo none típ for terrible service and the food we put that tras to on togo box and yeah I leave that doogfood outside next to the plants 🪴! I never NEVER comeback

My dad enjoyed the ceviche. Chicken soup and shrimp soup were good. I was disappointed with the steak tacos ALL I CAN TASTE WAS SOY SAUCE I guess they use Teriyaki for a marinade I was expecting Mexican seasons not Oriental tacos. rice and beans were very Bland
