Best pizza I've had since moving to MN last year! The crust is perfect! Wings are great too. Big fan of Chanticlear!!
The staff were great, polite, responsive and kind; and the place is clean. The reason for the lower score is because the price is very high--especially compared to Sammy's right nextdoor. The toppings on the pizza were good quality, but the crust is flimsy, soggy, flavorless and overall unfit to be served with these quality toppings. Probably not going back anytime soon, since there are other better options close by that are cheaper and have better crust--which is an essential component to any good pizza. If they totally redo the crust and lower the price slightly, I'd reconsider going back. A good pizza crust should either be crispy and slightly charred or have a good chew to it--this one has neither.
The pizza is good, but not sure why when I call to order the price is different from the website and always higher. This is the second time that it had happened since I only ordered here twice. Only reason why I called to order was due to the coupon book I purchased. I placed an order for a large 2 topping pan pizza online and it came down to $22.42 with tax included. I call to order due to the coupon book and I am charged another $4 higher. The first time it was a $6 dollar difference. Would be nice if ordering online you can put in the coupon code and then just bring in the coupon when picking it up. So 3 stars for over charging when calling to order verse website ordering.
3 stars because it has decent pizza but if you're in elk river looking for pizza Sammy's is right next door twice as good and probably cheaper! I ordered two 14 inch pizzas one just pepperoni and a chanti sticks and with tip was 82 bucks!!! I almost had a heart attack. Then I was told the 5 dollar delivery fee didn't even go to drivers. I found this out at the delivery because the girl taking my order didn't give me a total or expected delivery time and just said ok and hung up!
This is a Del/CO location (Delivery/Carry-out only) great food, and friendly staff.
You want a really good pizza? You need to try this place. The sauce has the right amount of spice to make the pie delicious. It is not to sweet like some places. It all seems fresh when you get it. They do offer a gluten crust if you need it to be. So if your in the Ramsey area give them a shot. It is good.
Update: owner reached out and made it right as a training opportunity, and a complementary pizza. Very attentive ownership. 40 minutes for 2 pizzas for pick up not during dinner rush. Was quoted 25 minutes. Could hear them say they messed up in the back. No discount or anything. Had to step outside as the inside had my 3 year old sweating it’s so hot in the waiting area.
Super good food. It's one of my favorite pizza places. I did the large half chicken and half cheese and got the garlic boneless wings, the employee was friendly and efficient. I will come back.
