I Loved the atmosphere, the staff was very nice and attentive,The restaurant is very clean. The food was OMG delicious, I had the Beef wrap cuban style😋 the best part for me this wrap had bits of friend sweet plantain ohhhh...so good 😊 and a serving of French fries. My sister had the Chicharrón Chicken , that's fry chicken chunks, white rice with black bean sauce and of course the Cuban colada and my sister had a caffee con leche so good..highly recommended

Really nice place and really good food. Came here late at night so they were out of a few things but that’s okay. The churrasco was cooked really well and the media noche was delicious. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be back.

This place was a pleasant surprise! Food was great. Wish it felt a bit more authentic but that won't keep me from goi going back! Left stuffed and took some home!

Came down to Homestead to set up base camp while I explored the local National Parks. My first full day there, I was like, I need to get some Cuban food. So I did some research, and the best bang for my buck seemed to be Casavana. I came in, got a seat, and looked at their delicious menu. We ordered a bunch of different things and just went to town. Started off with an Empanada (Cuban turnover filled with ham & Swiss cheese, beef, chicken or spinach). We chose beef, and this was A+. Crispy, flakey crust. Flavorful beef within. So good. Love a larger empanada that has a lot of filling to it. Then I got the Combo Criollo (4 ham croquettes, one cuban tamal and mariquitas). These croquettes were oh so ooey gooey and very crispy on the outside, not too oily. The tamal was very soft and not dry at all, a subtle flavor throughout paired with the bite of that onion, very good. And then the mariquitas were fun, always fun. Crispy. Save them to eat with every other aspect of your meal. Then a couple of main entrees. The Vaca Frita (A flavorful shredded flank steak grilled to perfection, topped with sauteed onions). Sides of Sweet plaintains, "maduros," and black beans and rice, "moros." Flavorful is right. Shredding is the best way to prepare flank steak. All the flavor, none of the toughness. And then sauteed onions make everything better. The moros were moist and flavorful. Was a nice dip for my mariquitas to scoop up. And then of course, gotta love the maduros. Like a nice dessert already on your plate. Then of course I had to have the classic Cubano Regular (Ham, pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and a touch of mustard on cuban bread, served with mariquitas). Side of French fries. I mean, this was great. This is a pretty standard sandwich, so it's hard to differentiate one from other, but one day to do it is to Stuff your sandwich with so much meat that it's actually impressive. Lots of stuff in this sandwich, and I really appreciate it. Thank you, Casavana. I finished off the meal with a nice Tres-Leches (Sweetened condensed, cream and whole milk poured over rich sponge cake). My favorite cake! Both criteria for a good tres leches were met here, the sponge was saturated thoroughly, and the sponge did not deteriorate before I ate it. Very good.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant today (12.29.2022) as I wanted. To see what the hype was about and try a new place to eat as I am new to the area. The food is tasty however, I ordered a veggie Cuban sandwich as I do not eat meat. The photo below is what they gave me. I didn't open the sandwich until I got home. I paid the same price as the cuban sandwich with meat and all I got was cheese and 2 pickles. The regular Cuban sandwich at least has lettuce and tomatoes. Very disappointed. 1/7/2023 - update. Okay. I gave it another try and guess what. The food is good but my sauce was spilled all in my bag. The server didn't secure the tops to the sauce and now it's everywhere. Wow! Can I get one order correct at this place? 2/21/2023 - update - finally much better. No spilled sauce in the bag and all was well with this food order. The food is still always very good.

I never came to this Casavana but the food was horrible for the price that they charged. I should have gone to Pinecrest Bakery because they use real eggs and made-to-order and not reheated items. The fries were old and the eggs are liquid which means "no taste". If you're going to charge $10 for a breakfast burrito then I think is because of the price of the REAL eggs and not cheaper liquid eggs, also the type of oil that you use on your fried is cheap because you can taste the grease oil. I spoke to the manager on duty and she saw that the fries were old but she said that all restaurants use liquid eggs which that is not true. I'm NEVER coming back here again, I recommend going to Pinecrest Bakery because that is real Cuban quality. Caravans no more Cuban style food, just cheap quality food.

Unfortunately it is apparent that this place is not keeping up with quality control as I received an order with a roach in my food. I will no longer be ordering from this restaurant again.

I lived in Homestead for over five years. This place was awesome before the pandemic but I visit the other day for dinner The food was horrible. I got real sick for two days in a row. I felt the food was reheated and not freshly cooked we order appetizer and the main course everything came out together within five minutes. Not a bad place to have coffee and pastry but just be careful what you order and how long it takes to come out
