Breakfast Menu "Casa Mia on the Hill" Newington

I can't say enough about my wedding venue. My mom had the idea to check it out, as the website advertised it as a "hidden gem". Boy, was that accurate. I can't tell you how many wedding guests commented on how delicious the food was. For our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, the food was outstanding. I communicated for a few months with Aida, but on the wedding day we were mostly taken care of by Yvette, Helen, and Lynda. They tended to our every need, and we got to know them throughout the day - almost felt like they were aunts or part of the family. Food was served to us piping hot, and my husband didn't get to have much of the appetizers (the mac and cheese balls) that he was so looking forward to - so they were heated up once again and brought to our sweetheart table as a personal plate for him. He was in his glory! We did pies for the wedding, instead of cake. I assumed that someone would ask us which of the four pies we wanted, then would bring it to us with our ice cream on the side. When Yvette served us our own beautiful platter with a slice of each pie, all decorated for us, it was so overwhelmingly delicious and amazing, I almost wanted to cry! Never would have expected that, but they rose to the occasion themselves. These are the nicest, sweetest people, who cook the finest food. Until I see them again, I'll be thinking of what kind of event I could have there in the future!

I was the DJ for a wedding here on November 11th 2022 and wanted to drop a quick review. The room looked great and the staff was amazing! They were on the ball with all the changes throughout the night and the food was perfect! If you are ever thing of getting married here, I 100% recommend!

I can't say enough positive words about this venue. We were there for a baby shower and it was fantastic. The staff was great and hospitable. They communicated everything. The food was delicious and the space itself was wonderful. My sister was over the moon with her baby shower and I have Casa Mia to thank for it.

A few weeks ago, we had a surprise engagement party for our daughter. Erica, the Banquet Manager, is attentive, organized, and works on all of your desires for your event! Yvette, our server with Erica, helped make it special! The food was delicious! Everyone (about 25 of us) was very happy with our entrees…filler mignon, salmon, and chicken piccata. Everything was cooked perfectly. Everything from the appetizers, salad, dessert entrees, and drinks were served timely. I don’t know what else to say except I’m extremely pleased with Casa Mia and would highly recommend them for any event!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Great job Erica!!! We will definitely be back!

Delicious, friendly staff and nice deck seating. Loved the happy hour menu. Sliders, sweet potato fries with cheese and calamari was yummy

I live in Florida and had to plan my daughter's baby shower long distance. I am so glad I found "Casa Mia on the Hill". Through the planning process they were super, always answering my email questions promptly. Erica and Aida were very helpful! The day of the event everything was perfect, the room and the food! Lynda and Yvette, saw to every detail and took very good care of all the guests. I could not have asked for a better facility or better people. Thank you to everyone for making this day a success!

Unfortunately, management has gone downhill and very disappointed. The manager is unprofessional and never gave me a written contract for a sweet 16 and changed the price after the event. After spending over $2k, I would expect better quality service. The food was mostly frozen and a huge disappointment. The owner, Tony, didn't do anything to correct the situation. Also, overcharge on sales tax and price per person at 8.8% instead of the 7 35% CT restaurant sale tax. Pay attention and make sure you get a written contract. I will no longer give them any business!

Huge shout out to Casa Mia! The food & staff exceeded our expectations at my daughter's recent wedding! Highly recommend holding any type of event there! Reasonably priced with excellent service.
