Oredered Carne Asada Medium, it was sent out way overcooked with very little flavor, if any. No flavor to the salsa in a dixie cup (actually tasted like Marinara). Beans and rice were similarly bland. We sent our food back, and although the the server was nice and courteous she had no idea why the food was so incorrect. $60.00 bill for nada.
Decent Mexican food at a reasonable price. Generally speaking you may have to wait a few minutes on weekends. They don’t take reservations. Service is above average to good. They will give you complementary chips and salsa once you are seated. As far as food is concerned you have multiple options to pick from. My recommendation is their Carne Asada. They also have some vegetarian options in the menu. Additionally there is sufficient parking. If you are looking for a low key nite out I would recommend this place.
We had a great time on the patio. The food was great, and Stephanie was awesome! Can't wait to go back!
I ordered the jumbo strawberry margarita and it tasted like it came from a premixed bottle. I ordered the carnota taco dinner , sorry but it didn't seem authentic Mexican. I have been to many Mexican restaurants and have been to many peoples homes that are Mexican and I would rate these tacos similar to taco bell....
The food was not good. Expected something authentic, but their taco options were limited and to have a regular single corn Tortilla tacos was not even on the menu. They didn't even have salsas, they gave us hot sauce bottles. Only gave a 3 because the server was very kind, patient, and attentive. She also brought us a dessert before we left. Margaritas were okay.
So my overall rating would be 3.5 stars ✨ for this place & Ill tell explain why- The whole ambiance, the decor, the outdoor seating, the location, and the hues around the entire restaurant make it highly picturesque (Instagram-worthy) so it's a decent place to visit, at least once. When it comes to authentic Mexican flavors & vibe, the food does cover it to an extent, however, I feel some of the flavors could have been better. Our order consisted of Veg/Non-veg quesadillas, Strawberry Margarita, Margarita flight, lemonade & Tecate Beer 🍺 & a dessert. Of which the flight (drink) was a bit disappointing since it isn’t served on the rocks. Despite that, I enjoyed the quesadilla, the portions were decent. It was paired with sour cream, guacamole 🥑, salad, re fried beans & rice. Again, 3.5 stars because the vegetarian options were limited, to be precise- just a few of them.
When I say great service, I mean it! Nicolas was a great server today at this restaurant. The host was helpful at the front door as well, she helped me find my party that had already arrived. The food was great and not to mention how tasty the salsa was. FYI it's not your usual red sauce and chips as shown in picture.
Came for my birthday dinner and the Pina Loca fajitas are sooooooo good! And the Margarita Toro and you've got a perfect dish. 🥰
