Tasty southwestern cuisine, great drinks, overall solid joint. I had the enchiladas and the wife had mac n cheese. Both were not mind-blowing by any means, but still delicious and good for the price. Drinks were fantastic, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a good stop while in Durango.
We couldn't decide where to go, finally picked this place since I enjoy craft beer. If you want the most amazing burger, you definitely need to stop here, it's to die for, and if you like ranch, this is by far the best on planet earth! I had the stout and one of the ambers, I have attached pics. The service is fantastic, we probably had one of the best servers. We first sat outside but it was chilly so we asked to be moved inside, glad we did because the place is super cute! I attached the menu, I could have tried the pretzel but I didn't and kind of regretted it since everything was AMAZING. So so good!!! So glad we stopped. Oh and FYI once you pay your tab you get a sticker! Awesome little detail. 😉
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb but there was no connection with our waitress. She did her job but that was it. Was she having a bad day? Was it because we were gay? Which is the thought I had because she went out of her way to serve the man/woman couple behind us. I left with a sour taste in my mouth...
*Update* I returned and had the Corned Beef Reuben. It was one of the best reubens I've had in a long time. Juicy and fantastic, the bread was toasted to perfection. The fried zucchini was a little bland, some green chile or even a little garlic would help. All in all, loved the experience! - I've lived in the area all my life. How did I overlook Carver Brewing Co.? The food was fantastic! The angel wings had the most amazing flavor, and those alone would send me back. We had the burgers, and they were cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. Try the tatanka, Buffalo is one of my favorite proteins.
We took advantage of their outdoor dining for lunch. The food was delicious, and our waitress was experienced, attentive, and gave great advice for food choices. The chimchurri salad with salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The peach desert was very creamy and enjoyable.
Found out this is one of the original breweries in Colorado. The server was from New York incredibly attentive multitasking server. Someone that should be training the rest of the world on how to treat customers. Not too much time with one customer and able to have peripheral vision enough to help everybody that's within eye distance. I love the hazy my wife loved the sour. My birthday is tomorrow and our anniversary is the next day we're going to be back. And then back to home.
Best steak sandwich I've ever had. Amazing. Small little lady host amazing also. second picture was are view from the patio. Had amazing ice cream across the street after.
We stopped in here because there was no wait to get seated on a Thursday night, and the service was good given how busy it was. I ordered the Tatanka burger with a quinoa patty, which was pretty tasty! I prefer when places offer a veggie patty option that isn’t fake beef, so the quinoa patty was perfect for me. My friend enjoyed her cheeseburger but said the patty was a bit dry. I wasn’t a huge fan of their sidewinder fries, but the portion was generous! Can’t comment on any of the beers or drinks, but overall a solid spot for dinner.
