Quaint resturants decor is hidden behind its industrial exterior. I was there at lunch time and there was no wait. It was just the manager and me. I got Misto Italian Salad which was huge, fresh and tastie. It was so large I took half home. There was a small loaf of light fluffy bread which just dissolved in my mouth. The music playing was old popular tunes I haven't heard in decades. A hidden gem. Don't miss it.

Such a simple bread but delicious! Meatball app was wonderful and the lobster ravioli never disappoints. Service was slightly off but the food made up for it.

Food is always delicious! Wonderful family owned italian restaurant with nice variety of Italian food and several daily specials. Beer, wine, sangria. Good attentive service. Plenty of parking. Great place for large parties and special occasions. One of our go to restaurants.

My girlfriend and I remembered Carlo's as being a quiet place with a nice atmosphere and solid food from one other occasion early in our relationship. We decided that for our anniversary we would dress up in full dress attire. Long dress for her and a suit for me. Carlo's struck us as a nice relaxing place where we wouldn't be over dressed, and could enjoy our special day. It turned out to be exactly as remembered. We got the calamari appetizer, a true test of the quality of restaurant seafood as it is easy to become chewy. It was light and delicious, and pulled flavors out of squid that I've never experienced. My veal Parmesan reminded me of my childhood, like mom used to make, and her chicken Parmesan was so good she enjoyed the leftovers from the large portion for several days afterwards. The waitress (when we asked) told us the back story of the restaurant, how it was family owned, and even took pictures of the two of us all dressed up. At the end of the meal, we were too stuffed for dessert, but they brought us a little something because we had mentioned it was our anniversary. A plate with a dessert cannoli and "happy anniversary" written in chocolate in Itallian on it. Overall it absolutely delivered on the anniversary dinner experience we were looking for. Someone told me they heard the place was loud due to the acoustics, and I can't speak for weekends, but on a weekday evening it is a nice quiet relaxing place to be. Highly recommended.

Local Italian restaurant with casual but attentive service. Small wine list with various house wines and some by-the-bottle. The Shrimp Pomodoro with Fettuccini (substituted Pomodoro instead of Marinara) was delicious!

Honestly I don’t like reviews because most people I find just want to complain. I want to say that I really like this place. It was kid afternoon so it was empty. Which is more to my liking. The decor is nice. Our waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Most importantly the food was delicious and the portions are filling. My wife had the wise guy and I had the Sausage Nepalitona. I found my dish to be delicious and the seasoning was excellent. I have read some reviews that were critical of how the exterior looked but for me it’s the food that matters and this place really delivers. My wife and I do date night once a week and pick a New restaurant each week. My wife chose Carlo’s and I’m glad she did. We will be back.

I took my son and daughter in law to Carlo’s again, and again. The ladies that serve you are friendly and warm and want you to enjoy your experience. We loved the veal dishes and the quality of the home recipes you can taste. Such flavor and great portions. Ownership is always there and they take pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Try any of the veal dishes and the fish specials are to die for. This is a gem for locals and it many people know about it-very unassuming but warm and relaxing. Come on a weeknight or a weekend. Cockeysville’s lucky to have them.. 5 star food!! Love it love it love it...

Great restaurant, superb food. We frequent there often and were never disappointed in the slightest. Quality, taste of food and portions are amazing. My personal favourite are the seafood dishes. Their soups are outstanding and they have the best bread around. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. We love the Bistro ❤
