This location is unusually slow, but I think they may be understaffed. Maybe not. This 2 piece meal looked perfect. The fish was very hot. But the Mac n cheese was cold, not even lukewarm, as well as the hushpuppies. I ate the fish and one hush puppy. Waste of money. Cars frequently leave the drive thru line due to it being so slow, as we have as well. And the employee.... I hope she finds something that makes her smile. The vibe felt like a prison cafeteria line. :( 4 stars, because we usually get great friendly service and food here. This just wasn't one of those times.
This location has totally been neglected... hasn't been cleaned in 20 years. I wonder if the other locations are this filthy .....no telling what the kitchen looks like I'll never eat here again.
My wife & I experienced the worst service here of anywhere I've ever been..on 9-4-23 we waited over 55 min for our order (inquiring several times thru out that time period where it was) then politely asked for a refund or store credit.. the cashier said that'd be up to the manager who was out in her car. When she finally came back in I was told they don't do gift cards or refunds..I was polite but insistant & after 10 min of rudely explaining why she couldn't do that, she issued a "void" ticket & said we'd have the money go back on our card, which it still hasn't. They gave us a box of food on our way out which wasn't our order & was cold & had nasty brown grease & fingerprints/smudges on side of box. We threw it away because we questioned its safety. We won't be back & simply cannot recommend this restaurant!
Went through the drive thru and ordered a fish dinner. First, the cashier didn't give me my change and walked away. I had to ask the other person for it. I got a chicken dinner instead. When I went back, they were very rude and complained that I had taken a bite of a piece of chicken. They only replaced the chicken for fish, leaving me with cold fries. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE. This place has really gone downhill.
My order was simple but there was a mix up. I was overcharged a couple bucks, but i was drinking, so didn’t care. My food was right, hot and fresh. They seem to be back to their better chicken, which made me happy. 😁don’t forget the sweet and sour sauce, it’s everything.
The food was prepared nice and hot. My fish was fried all the way through. Food did need some salt and pepper. Customer service was good even when it was becoming a little busy. I recommend
First time to ever try Captain D's! Very friendly staff and delicious food. If you remember Long John Silver's that is how it reminded me of. I will look for it in Michigan.
The service is horrible to start they took over 20 minutes for a 2 piece fish and a large potato soup. I'm not sure if the large is supposed to be two of the small side containers but mine is. Don't think I'll be back.
