Breakfast Menu "Caffe Capri" East Rutherford

I am handicapped. I went to pick my kids up at dance and mma classes. There were no handicapped spots or regular spots on the street. I saw an empty lot with at least 15 open parking spots in it so I parked. I came out to my car getting towed with 2 crying kids. The tow truck driver told me that the restaurant manager called on me. I went inside to speak to him but the servers said there was nobody there. He was hiding in the back like a coward. He finally came out and started yelling at me. Once he saw, I was handicapped, he changed his tune and went out and asked the tow truck driver to drop the car. After paying $150, I had the car dropped. The tow truck driver and police officer said he sits at the camera and waits for people to park there just so we can call the cops and have them towed. I could see if the restaurant was full and they needed the spots but it was completely empty. Now I know why it was empty. Reading the reviews as the food is horrible, and the management is also disgusting. How do you tow a handicap car? Karma is real and you will face yours one day sir.

Upon my daughter’s recommendation I visited Caffe Capri looking to have little clams over spaghetti. I ordered a dish which immediately smelled extremely foul fishy smell. The minute the plate came out I knew something was wrong. I tried one clam just to be sure and it had somewhat of a foul taste. I then took a picture thinking maybe it was just me , so I tried a second one upon biting into I immediately spit it out. The waiter then came over and asked how my meal was. I told him it smelt extremely fishy and I believed the clam were bad. He then Proceeded to ask me if I wanted a bag to take it to go! I said no there was something wrong with the dish. Against my better judgement I order something else surely after I believe it was the owner who then came out to ask about my meal. When I explained that the clams were bad he proceeded to tell me he watched me on the camera count the clams and take a picture of the clams. So I proceeded to tell him then he should have seen me spit the clam out. Then he tried to tell me it was the Parmesan cheese that threw off the taste of the foul, stinking , fishy taste! He proceeded to tell me he would take it off the bill as if he was doing me a favor. It was the first and LAST time I will step foot in this restaurant, due to the rude owner who was as foul as the clams I was served!

Let me start with saying disgusting, the restaurant, the workers the owners..... This place has been going down hill because of the lack of potential that they have, they over price everything and higher the prices even more depending on your impression at the restaurant . Let me also go on to say that I went to pick something up after being at their restaurant at one of the local stores there for one minute and I came back to my car being towed and the response was that "if I park here and I'm not at their restaurant then they tow it". So if they aren't making business inside they are making it outside because the towing people were splitting bills with them which is funny because if they think this is going to go on for much longer they are mistaking. PSA NEVER COMING BACK, DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

I've been coming to this restaurant since my daughter was three years old. My daughter is now eleven. She loves to come here for the amazing oven brick pizza and Pasta. Everybody should come and try their lunch special with their new home made focaccia bread. With $13.00 dollars you can have a gourmet lunch😄 besides the stuff goes above and beyond to please You, and Dominic *the owner* is the most friendly guy I've ever met. I Love the way he treats his customer. Overall Cafe Capri is our favorite Italian restaurant in East Rutherford.

Love the pizza vodka, roasted potatoes, sautéed spinach, and great pastas. The lentil soup is spectacular Do ask them for their house baked bread Very careful of allergies

Place is beautiful but service could be more cheerful and ask what you need. It doesn't seem to be authentic Italian cooking.. not very good 😕

This was my first time here. My friend brought me here for my birthday. Great service from the minute we walked through the door. The owner, Eddie, came to the table and introduced himself. Gave us background on the restaurant. Fresh, organic ingredients and family ran. Our servers, Juan and Roman, were very attentive and friendly. Everything was fresh, good portions. We started with the fried calamari and brick oven personal pizza. The margarita pizza was delicious! I added shrimp to my pasta primavera. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. We shared a tiramisu which came with whipped cream topped with blueberries and cinnamon. Best I've ever had! There was a DJ on a Friday night which added to a great atmosphere. Its BYOB. They also offer carryout. I cannot wait to return.

Excellent Food, Great Service, I was under dressed . But a very relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed everything that came to Our table.
