I found Cafe Paris to be a pretty fine establishment overall. It offers a large menu with authentic French cuisine for each meal. I ordered the croissant sandwich, which was turkey, lettuce, tomato, and Swiss cheese in a croissant. A side of fries was also included with the sandwich. The sandwich came together really well and croissant was perfectly toasted. Throughout the restaurant there is a quaint French ambiance with artwork on the walls, flowers, and decorative items. There’s also outdoor seating with nice views of main street. The service was fine as well, but beware they sneakily automatically add a tip to your final bill and don’t verbally let you know. I guarantee people accidentally give them an additional tip if they don’t look at the bill closely. Overall, I had a great lunch at Cafe Paris and I give it my recommendation.

I had very high expectations, which is why I was I little bit disappointed. I took coffee and croissants at the Cafe (to go) and ordered some breakfast food. Regular croissant was really good. Waffles, coffee and crepes so so.

Best smoked salmon sandwich ever. Not sure what made it different, fresh gost cheese, pickled red onion maybe?, or the delicious bread, but I definitely recommend. Spinach omelet was great too, but really, try the smoked salmon!

Disregard the one star posts. They seem likely written by people who are either looking to get something for free or are just miserable and enjoy ruining the reputation of small businesses. That said, I had a fabulous meal of lamb and goat cheese Galette, with a side of mixed greens and for dessert I had chocolate mousse and vanilla ice cream, and a wonderful café au Paris. Everything was delicious, fresh and prepared with care. The service was excellent and the decor is adorable.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe paris in Metuchen, and I must say, it was an outstanding breakfast experience from start to finish. I am delighted to give this fantastic establishment a well-deserved five-star review! Thank you leticia Kyle 2 update This time wasn’t as I expected the waiter was so pushy to give us the receipt so we leave even that my wife didn’t finished her coffee that we order after the breakfast and the restaurant was 60% empty . So disappointed The previous waiter ( leticia) was awesome

Cafe paris is really worth visiting. We got a hot chocolate, nutella coffee, veggie sandwich with a side of fries and a chocolate mousse crepe. It was a fulfilling meal for a vegetarian. There are way more non veg options so that would be worth trying too if you like. The ambience is decently decorated and does not disappoint on giving paris feels. A cute little eiffel tower on the side has been decorated to sparkle the whole time. Loved those details!

Disappointed.. Cute and cozy place, friendly coworkers but food was not good. I love french culture, I used to live in Paris thats why I wanted so bad to try this cute place. Unfortunately this was not a good experience.. I ordered an avocado toast, which turned out to be a sandwich (old avocado, thick tomato slices) , hash brown tasted like nothing.. (Hate to say this but McDonald’s taste better), toast was extremely hard that It was difficult to bite. We also ordered a Sandwich n# 5 with Fresh fruit and prosciutto that was horrible..they gave us a salad instead. After asking for our fruit, they gave us a really small cup with “fresh fruit” (old strawberries w some mold on it and cantaloupe) Coffee was really good, tasty and vibrant flavors. We had a almond joy and cappuccino I would go again but only for coffee

Overall great experience. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff was very helpful/kind. I will be back!!
