User Reviews

Found this spot on Yelp and due to good reviews, decided to check it out. Didnt have high expectations since I am used to NYC's coffee shops. But I was pleasantly surprised by great service, tasty/fresh food and great coffee(Cafe Grumpy Beans). I have been here on two occasions and both times it was great! - owner operated - fast and diligent service - good variety of meal options(pastas, brunch food, juices, etc) - nice decor and very clean environment Definitely recommend!

I love Cafe Orange Tree! The food is delicious and the space is casual and clean. The food items on the menu are reasonably priced. I ordered the garden salad with chicken for $9. I've gone back multiple times and everytime is as good as the last.

New cafe in town, just across Highway 303 from Walgreens, Tappan. Bubble tea, coffee, special coffee, tea, desserts, and REAL FOOD / MEALS! Staff seems to really care.

I would live here if I could. Came here on a Saturday morning with my wife and brother in law for breakfast. Got Shakshuka, grilled cheese sandwiches and a breakfast platter. I was very happy with the quality of the coffee and the food we ate. There was no one else in the restaurant at the time and that is odd because this place was amazing. The ambience of the restaurant is great as well. Great place to bring friends and chill. They keep some board games there was so we played a round of Sorry while we waited. It looks like it's being run by a cute couple and they were great hosts.

Stopped here for a quick simple meal after a hike at bear mountain. Two of us shared a mushroom arugula truffle flatbread and an order of Parmesan truffle fries. The food tasted delicious and fresh. In the end we ordered the cream brûlée but we didn't like the taste and texture. Overall this place is great as there are tons of different food/drink options and the food we had were satisfying

SUPER CUTE!!! Very bright, clean atmosphere and friendly owners. My coworker and I had the green tea and thai tea bubble teas. Perfectly done tapioca 😭🙏 On the main road but a little hard to spot. Don't miss it!

Bright and beautiful decor. I ordered the "American Breakfast", 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 breakfast sausage etc. I nearly left when I saw the price was $13! I stayed because I thought I'd give them a chance to prove it. Nah. Eggs were ordered over easy but served "basted" which is what a cook who cannot flip eggs does to try to cook the egg white surface. The sausage was "Jones Farm" type, microwaveable. Greens are a nice addition to a breakfast plate but the clump of mango corn salsa was too sweet The toast was so cold the butter remained solid. The only decent thing on the plate was the bacon but it did little to raise the level of the dish. Try something else. Any diner can make a better breakfast for half the cost.

If you like a bright, clean, quiet, chic, yet cozy place to relax and enjoy delicious, fresh food, Cafe Orange Tree is the spot for you! Although the menu may not be extensive, the options are plentiful, and have good health in mind. You can substitute French Fries for a side salad , the creamy balsamic dressing is delicious! Mr. Kim pays attention to detail, providing stations to charge your electronics, board games to play while waiting to dine, as well as a great little table with a nice selection of condiments to choose. The Mushroom Arugala flat bread is very tasty, add to it a green tea bubble tea, you won’t be sorry. The avocado toast with egg and salmon is also a delicious option, whether it be for breakfast, dinner or just a late night snack! Grumpy Bean Coffee- Excellent choice. So happy to have such a great cafe to treat my friends to!
