I have been going to Buzz Inn for basically my whole life, since I grew up in that exact area. It went through at least a few ownership changes, I believe.. & as far as I can tell, the current staff have been friendly, the store is kept pretty clean, & it's always pretty well stocked. Not the fanciest store. It's familiar, homey.. iykyk. Everyone pretty much knows everyone, & people around here just call it 'The Store' & we all know exactly where they're referring to. The employees I've met so far are the 'greet you at the door' type of employees, def makes you feel welcome. One thing I could do without are the gambling games they recently added. I even see the employees playing them, (occasionally on the clock, when it must be a slow day, I think, not positive), but they're everywhere now. Not a fan at all.
Not what it used to be. Breakfast at the BuzzIn used to be so good, now it's just sad. Threw away this over-cooked shoe leather "tenderloin" this morning. Was just barely able to eat some of the biscuit from around it. Never going back.
Great local FAMILY OWNED store has kerosene, off road diesel, and a full kitchen that serves some good home cooked food
This place isn't "buzz in" anymore. It's called Simmons Market. Instead of writing reviews here write them for Simmons Market instead. But this place isn't that great. Go to the shell station next door. I've never met the Cj guy with tattoos people are talking about but I believe what i'm reading. There is a lady named Brenda or Brandy. I've stopped by Simmons Market twice now and both times this woman was standing outside smoking cigarettes. She's very rude and made me repeat myself several times and she took her merry time coming back in the store from her cigarette breaks. That woman seems to have problems and I don't think many people like her very much. I've heard a lot of negativity about this Simmons Market place (including negativity about the owner Gregory) saying they have no manners and are disrespectful. It's all true. The shell station next door isn't much better, but I would definitely stop there over Simmons Market any day.
This place is known as "Simmons Market" now. Not "Buzz in". Either way, the service here really sucks. I don't like the service at all. The little guy, Cj, working here with the tattoos is rude. He made small talk with me and asked "Where do you work"? When I told him I worked at a nail salon he said "That sounds about right. You look like the type of girl who just sits on her butt all day". What the heck is wrong with that guy? Sure I sit on my butt, but I make better money than him!!! The owner needs to teach Cj some manners! Srsly!
Some items are good but I find the chicken too salty and eggs on salad are usually not fresh, have gotten rotten deviled eggs that were slimey! Made me sick. Not same as Buzz in.
Great place, food always good. Due to improper knowledge the person who took my order wrong today, plus did not give me everything ordered. Very nice about filling order correctly. However the other items that were wrong were eatten, but they were not happy.
