User Reviews

This place was absolutely amazing. The vibe inside is very inviting and relaxing. The whole staff had a positive, friendly attitude, and you can tell everyone wanted to be there. Best of all, the food was delicious. The smothered breakfast burrito was the special of the day, and it was layers of flavors that were great with every bite. We also had the Sasquatchos that were rich and decadent nachos, but the magic coleslaw on top really gave a nice crispness to every bite. We finished off with some delicious desserts and will definitely be back.

We went hiking down near the Springs and I searched in hopes to find a vegan restaurant. OMG Burrowing Owl was excellent. The ambiance was super cool with old beer signs and light. Also, owl figurines everywhere. The food was excellent. I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the choices and will definitely go again next time I’m in that area (we live up in greater Denver). They do charge a 4% serve charge that they will remove upon request (for back of house staff wages). I’m not a fan of this in general but will absolutely leave it on for a vegan / plant based establishment. My only suggestion is that it should be added below the tax line, not above. I took this into consideration when adding my 20% tip (I didn’t tip on top of the service charge).

Disclosure - this is a re-review. I love this place so much, I can’t stop giving it kudos. This is tied with Ferns Diner at my favorite place to eat and hangout. Although everything is vegan, I think most non-vegan won’t even know. Great vibe and atmosphere. Drinks are unique and fun. Super customer service. Amazing!!! Oh, forgot…checkout the pictures of the bathrooms. Every detail is incredible!

I love to eat out and eat delicious foods but sometimes that can be challenging as a vegan. I was super excited and thrilled to kkownthat Colorado Springs has a 100% vegan restaurant and everything is us delicious. I ordered the vegan crunchwrap because I have always wanted to try one and never got around to doing it until now, very tasty. Also ordered the Sasquatchos and those were super amazing saice and flavorful, the portion is very generous and succulent, highly recommend. The ambiance was very nice. The customer service was excelelnt. The food delicious and the prices reasonable. Will have to visit them again in the future.

Took some people from out of town here for dinner and they really enjoyed the place and the food as well. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We went in on a Wednesday evening at around 6pm and was a little busy but got in and ate with no problem. ALL VEGAN MENU.

Overall it’s a pretty hipster joint. Mostly chill atmosphere and super good decor. Food was pretty dang good. Music sucked. The waitress asked if we were ready for a check and we said yes. She then proceeded to forget to bring us our check for 15min and another girl had to get it for us.

Amanda made us feel right at home our first time in today!! We were so excited about the entire vegan menu, but settled on the Crunchwrap and Mac and cheese, both absolutely 10/10 yummy. We will absolutely come here again the next time we’re in Colorado Springs!

Fantastic place with a wide variety of traditional "standard American" dishes but ALL VEGAN. The food is delicious with generous portions, and the ambience is relaxing and inviting. There are some games and activities available that our kids loved while waiting for the food. Great selection of drinks too, including non-alcoholic beers and mocktails. Love this place and will definitely be going back to try more of the menu!
